WHY would anyone want to be a Republican?

I am having a ball watching the DNC------lottsa noise, lottsa fun and laughter, all colors and types of humans that exist on the planet---------and NUNS!  Those women rock.  Educated, cultured, diverse, compassionate, brilliant and FUN.

This DNC, in particular, is diverse and dynamic, and full of color.  Bill Clinton is irrepressable--------he's still got it.  What a guy--------and he and Obama seem to have grown closer.  I have a sense when I see them together that Obama has EARNED Clinton's respect------they truly seem to like one another now.  That makes me happy.

I think it was Bill Maher, irreverant soul that he is, said that the Republicans did have a Latino, but with the Democrats they come in pairs (referring to the Mayor of San Antonio and his twin brother).

The Republicans had a convention, but the Dems are having one helluva PARTY!

  1. Dems want to fool their myrmidons that they are re-electing a man in Bill Clinton's image. The truth is very different.

  2. As for your title "Why would anyone want to vote for a Republican" just goes to show you how closed minded and juvenile you are. It's in line with Obama's philosophy in terms of Nationalizing health care and his RULE via executive order. Why would he work with Republicans when he doesn't have to? There is no respect for diversity of opinion.

That's a weird thing to say---------Dems are all about diversity and everyone saying what they believe-----I guess if the Repubs HAD diversity of opinion there would be respect for it.

Using a 1980 slogan, over and over, is not only not diverse--------its not even relevant now. Outdated, tired cliches don't cut it with the American public, but soon we will all find out for sure who made the better case for POTUS.

    2. Obama has never advocated nationalizing health care.

Come on Carol, your opinion is very biased... Let someone in the democratic party advocate the abolition of Roe v Wade in favor of a federal definition of life, let someone say that they actually believe the a healthy family is 1 man, 1 woman and their children. Let anyone dis any one of the hundred click groups that make up the Democratic party and they will be chastised and marginalized like Ron Paul.

Democrats, more so than Republicans, must have everyone toe the party line because their are so many groups that if they fragment, the DNC would become irrelevant. .... and of coarse they are partying.... life is a wonderful party when you can get everyone else to pay for it.... sort of like Obama's visit to your town, where he forces communities to foot the bill for his exalted presence....

    4. Only GOD can define life. Yes, I am biased, everything the Repubs claim they will do is do away with R v W, Planned Parenthood, SS and Medicare, pass fed legislation that marriage is 1m and 1w.

This is a tear-down agenda, not a building up and moving forward agenda. Repubs have stated that all they wanted from the get go (when Obama was elected) was to get him out of the WH.

Their last 4 years have been spent on legislative
obstructionism and getting Obama out of office.

Some times in a society things are done and shouldn't have been. From my point of view, the government should have never been the one to 'give the right' to women to have an abortion in the first place. She had that right of self determination all alone BUT her right was challenges as are all rights when they conflict with the rights of others..... The constitution says life.... The US federal governments only case to bring is if one life is conflicting with another. You can kill your baby and escape justice for a wrongful death... so the only decision for the secular justice court to decide was not if you have the right to any personal action but to the definition of life UNDER OUR SECULAR LAW. They couldn't make women happy by saying life begins at conception and they couldn't make the religious components of the country (which included a LOT of women) by saying birth given that a child can be delivered quit premature and be very viable. No Carol, the issue is about freedom and the constitution and like I said, let someone say anything about their beliefs that a healthy family is inclusive of a female/male couple .... talk about closed minded. Just because someone doesn't believe in a society of anything goes does not make them close minded... It might even mean that they see the errors in past decisions..

    6. Whether or not Clinton and Obama have grown closer is the defining moment for deciding my vote. I'd simply be lost if I didn't think they had grown to truly like one another. Not.

I can't imagine anything about Bill's performance has anything to do with wanting Hillary to win in 2016---not a single solitary thing.

Now there is some great political manipulation that seems to be working---the convention bread and circus has made Carol feel better.

  3. Yes, weeee, party while the debt goes through 16T, unemployment stays at 8.3%, the dollar keeps going down, more downgrades coming, scandals galore, failed $1T stimulus, unwanted health law rammed down our throats through Chicago-style trickery and strong-arm tactics...

Wow - those Dems sure are FUN!

  4. I'm ashamed of the Dems and the depraved CIRCUS their convention is. Their whole platform is you should be reliant on govt and force your neighbors to pay for your $3,000 annual promiscuous slut contraceptives bill. Fluke and Elizabeth Warren were sick and WEAK, so were Clinton and Michelle. Begging for 4 more years with NO performance whatsoever. To do what? Continue their socialist assault on America. Pathetic.

Their moral compass and senior leader is a known rapist, womanizer, abuser and morally bankrupt philanderer.

The whole GOD and Jerusalem thing was an outrage.
The Dems have exposed themselves for the leftists they are - JFK is spinning in his grave.
    They are DONE.

I gave him/her no more and no less respect then they dished out. Where exactly is the censorship in that? Their comment was not removed.
