Who decided that the MSM was anything other than a sensationalist, money-making, headline grabbing, repetitive garbage regurgitater? It's crap after more crap, day after day, and those of us who pay attention may glean some scrap of fact we can use.
If you want to know how to get a mortgage refi from a bank that does not want to loan to you------its there in the news if you sift through the crap to find it. If you want to know how to get your insurance company for a claim they insist on denying---------it's all there if you listen.
Watching the news is like intellectual dumpster diving--------who ( which news org ) can come up with the most dirty laundry fastest and torque it up.

ReplyDeleteHave you noticed the size of ALL products getting smaller? Bought some Hershey kisses the other day and they are 1/2 the size they used to be, fewer in a package and the cost up 50% from 2 years ago.
I am on a cash basis buying as little as possible------no new car(s), no new appliances, no furniture or rugs, no nothin'. We ate out at a seafood place last night and I was floored by the prices.
The MSM has essentially ignored the cost of food and gas which have inflated significantly. They do report core inflation but that does not include food and gas.
The MSM, in not reporting the real costs the 99k% have to deal with daily, are lying to the dumbed down masses. MSM has a responsibility to report the ACTUAL COL but they don't. Anyone who has the ability to sort through the charts and endless numbers can see the lies.
Then again, just ask any person on the street-----they will tell you the truth, irrespective of the MSM misinformation. Unions can understand the data too.
I've been talking about product repackaging and cost for over two years. What most people do not understand and realize is that most of our inflation has been exported overseas buy the monitization of the dollar. We import a LOT of foods and our produce, particularly grains and beef is on the open market for export. When commodity prices blow up overseas it eventually finds its way back to our prices. The cause of all of this you ask...... THE FED! Corporate profits are zooming because they are selling well internationally. Let the rest of the world continue to design bilateral trade deals that cut out the US dollar and one day all of those dollars come home to roost. People say that the fed can just extinguish those dollar but to do that, they must find a buyer for all the trash collateral that they hold... Including US treasuries. This will not end well and until people understand that the Fed is a private concern working with and for private banks, we will not come to grips with the REAL problems that we have.
