First, the Liberal MSM couldn't figure out Clint Eastwood. One person saying he was strange and another saying it distracted from Mitt and another saying it was rambling.
However, I think it was clever and provided a bit of comic relief. I think most of America easily understood what he was talking about.
When the Dems have Muslim speakers, do you think Tom Brokaw will point out every few minutes that the speaker is a Muslim? Nah I didn't think so.
Puurty much sez t'all:

The liberal Hollywood were out in force to comment about Eastwood's little skit....
DeleteThis one doesn't realize just how close the metaphor of the 'empty chair' is for the real thing....
"Apparently Clint Eastwood had an argument with an empty chair regarding its political standpoint," remarked Simon Pegg, another member of the current Trek crew.
Scott, an empty chair was all he could relate to I suppose since an empty limo probably brought Eastwood to the venue.
DeleteToucheeee...
DeleteNot much in the way of comments. We found a good bit of the speechifying was to the point, thought Ann Romney did well, etc... But in the end, we're not how many of the fence-sitters will step one way or the other. It's sad that, among other factors, this should fundamentally about the economy, and it appears many aren't getting that, or at least ignoring it.

DeleteThis, I agree with.
