Its pretty well understood that a trained and practiced weapons hobbyist is a better shot than a rank and file policeman. Also, it would appear that police, now more than ever, shoot first and ask questions later.... it is their safety they are concerned with, not the publics.
Yeah, how many times has someone been carrying a bat or nothing at all, who could have been immobilized with a single shot from dozens of yards away without risking the life of the officer.
I find it interesting that there is little or no reports of outcry about the Police and their actions in this incidence. Makes Me wonder.
