Did Ann Romney get the job done with her speech?

I like HER a lot, I admire and respect her, but she is not running for POTUS.  I am my husband's #1 fan too, but that does not mean that he can make me likable, or that I can make him UN-likable.

HE is running----------and I like Romney less for dragging his wife around the campaign stops.  I am sure she gets SOME rest, but with MS---------and cancer, a lot of rest and peace and quiet are absolutely essential.  She is a trooper and I wish her nothing but the best----------

  1. I suppose that you will discount Michelle's speech at the DNC also Carol for balance.

Ann hit it out of the park.

  2. It WAS a sweet speech, but it did not make Mitt more likable, or make him more qualified.

She'd make a great POTUS------on her own. They will NOT win.

    1. That would be a shame as it will be likely the end of the USA as we have known it in the past.

Do you honestly think O will curtail spending?
Do you honestly thing spending another 6 trillion dollars in the next 4 years will cure the unemployment in this country? Do you honestly think SS and Medicare can continue on as it has in the past without near full employment to pay for the entitlement?

    3. Spending is not the problem, reining in spending on useless agencies, with no accountability, spending on waste, fraud and abuse needs to be done NOW.

Yes, I like everyone else, am biased.

    4. Hum.... With all due respect Carol, unless you are one of those 'the government has the printing press and will never go broke' kind of fiscal theorist..... Spending more than you make... IS a problem.

  3. Mrs. Romney is a probable epitome of devoted wife. What is disturbing is that some one would think "being dragged along" when every wife in politics gladly supports and actively participates in the ritual. That you dislike Romney is no surprise but to "drag" the wife into your reasoning for that dislike is unfathomabale.

    1. Devoted wife???????----------hmmmmm, interesting choice of words there. I am more interested in the individual who would be POTUS to be devoted to the people of this country----to be aware of the needs of everyone--------not just the wealthy.

We all know they put her "out there" to humanize the Rominator--------I admire her greatly, as I said to begin with.

  4. I find it amazing that many would bad mouth Romney with his business credentials yet give Obama a pass as he has no credentials.

Barack isn't a lawyer today and cannot practice law. Has not practiced law since.

From 1993-2002 Obama worked as an associate attorney with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. The firm was founded in 1971 and today consists of fourteen lawyers in two offices.

The firm has acquired a national reputation in civil rights litigation and neighborhood economic development work. In addition to its practice in these areas, the firm represents a broad range of individual and corporate clients, providing a wide variety of legal services.
