I like HER a lot, I admire and respect her, but she is not running for POTUS. I am my husband's #1 fan too, but that does not mean that he can make me likable, or that I can make him UN-likable.
HE is running----------and I like Romney less for dragging his wife around the campaign stops. I am sure she gets SOME rest, but with MS---------and cancer, a lot of rest and peace and quiet are absolutely essential. She is a trooper and I wish her nothing but the best----------
I suppose that you will discount Michelle's speech at the DNC also Carol for balance.

What is disturbing is that some one would think "being dragged along" when every wife in politics gladly supports and actively participates in the ritual.
