2016 The Movie

I've spoken to two people who have viewed the movie. Does anyone have any plans to see it? Does anyone on the left care that Obama was deliberately trained at every stage of his life?

Does anyone think this movie will have any impact in November?

1773-2009 Mr. Obama, it's not working. You didn't build anything.

  1. No, no one on the left cares, they actually like it.

It's cool to have a commie in the WH, it's rad, man.

  2. Isaac is going to have the biggest impact of anything on November!

  3. Huh? Carol?

2016 - I heard it was excellent. I also know people that went to see it last night but I haven't heard from them.

The comment I heard was that it's really depressing to hear Obama's plan/vision for America.

    1. livestrongest,

'plan/vision'? As in, directly out of his mouth, or from quotes attributable to him?

That said, and knowing next to nthing about this, I lean towards thinking it won't have a huge impact. 'Course, tight as the race appears to be shaping up . . .

    2. I agree, it looks close. The president's problem is that he never exceeds 50%.

  4. The movie itself will have ZERO impact. But it IS another example of how a huge silent majority feels like they've been ostracized by the Obama administration. Combine that with the chik-fil-A event and the big success of American Bible Challenge you can see a large segment of society (a traditional segment at that) is being left out of the discussion. Also, people are tired of the MSM lies. The MSM will report an event as attended by 10% of the actual crowd side if it's a right leaning event. Likewise, the MSM exaggerates attendance of left wing events. Whatever happened to honesty in the media?

    1. (derisive sound or giggle, you pick) "honesty" and "media" in the same sentence?

      Doesn't often sell.

    2. I can't tell you how many times I've heard tropical storm Isaac referred to as a Hurricane. It's not yet. If you ask me, a level 1 hurricane is not much different than a strong thunderstorm.

    3. Generally you don't get (Level 1) 74-95 mph winds from a strong thunderstorm. Nor do you generally get flooding from a thunderstorm which moves through an area quickly.

  5. I see the MSM totally ignored 2016 box office performance

  6. I actually want to go see it. Heard about it thru another forum.

  7. Read a LOT of reviews for it and seems that the partisan divide is well in place with this movie as well.... although to be far dems did give him more kudos for facts and balance than they gave Michael Moore for his 'documentaries'.

“2016: Obama’s America” surprised critics and won the box office show this past weekend. The movie grossed $6.2 million and $5,940 per-screen average to top the box office list.

The $5,940 per-screen average posted by “2016: Obama’s America” was easily the best among films playing widely. “Expendables 2″ stayed on top in its second week with $13.2 million averaging $3,950 from 3,355 theaters.

The documentary purports to tell what things will be like should the president be re-elected. Distributor Rocky Mountain Pictures expanded it into 1,091 theaters (from 169 last week)

Saw it, loved it, our audience applauded it at the end. Not attack journalism, but fact journalism. A very compelling presentation on our sitting president.

A few more dots get connected…

    Saw it, and liked it.

Dinesh makes a very sober, factual presentation. May change some minds.

Star of the show was step brother George! He is a thoughtful, intelligent guy; even wrote a book. Now I see why the MSM portrays him as a dope smoking, vagrant. His ideas don’t fit the agenda, so he is marginalized.

I went to see expendibles on Weds. I couldn’t decide between that and 2016. I didn’t think seeing 2016 would make much difference since I’m conservative and have long ago made my choice on who’s right for this country. But then I decided to see it anyways on Friday. I should have skipped the movie on Weds. 2016 was far more entertaining and interesting than watching a bunch of has been old geezers with hair dye and face lifts trying to kill each other. I thoroughly enjoyed 2016 and highly recommend it. If your looking for a good seniors kicking ass and taking names R.E.D. is a far better movie. Take a liberal friend to see 2016 and help save this country.

  9. I'll watch it when it comes to netflix. Will that be too late to influence me for the election?

  10. Will not change my mind about anything but would like to see this film.
I would like to think that this film might give me a little understanding into who this person Barack Obama really is.
What I have read is this is not really an attack but rather is factual,That's why I would like to see this.

    1. Let's just say for the sake of argument that four or five years ago a republican had Obama's resume.

Do you suppose there may have been a mite more investigation into his past?

After all, they sent like 50 lawyers up to Wasilla to turn over every snow drift after Sarah Palin was chosen.

The MSM in this country is an absolute embarrassment.

    2. Our entire media, including that of the right, is driven by ratings and advertising. What drives ratings are our desires to consume scandal and smut. If alive today, Kronkite would likely be on PBS or NPR or would be a high school history teacher living in obscurity. Despite having a strong grass roots start, the tea party is becoming just another group of people bitching that everyone but them is clueless.

Pathetic as our media is, they will not hesitate to run a sensational story that has at least a shred of credibility, although after this election cycle, even that shred of credibility will no longer matter. You indict the media, I indict our stupid population who would rather hear about Snookie then real debate on what will fix this country. Stop playing victim. If you want people to give a shit about your concerns, stop the theatrics of tri corner hats and signing your posts with epithets. Talk about emulating Saul Alinski.

    3. The Tea Party movement has anything but a "victim mentality." The reason the left is so in a dither about us is that they know we can and will move the needle.

1773-2009 We are in it until the grave. Deal with it.

    4. The Republican party that spawned you does not want you either and as this convention has just shown, the right will work to silence you as much as anyone on the left..if not more so. We already have a system of all or nothing politics and the tea party is just another all or nothing player who has no room for compromise. When the Republican party actually starts to work with you, I'll worry. Until then, I think your biggest resistance will come from those who allegedly should agree you.

    5. It took five decades for the Great Society to put us into this 16T hole. It will take some time to extract ourselves.

I think you underestimate the start, and the intensity of the Tea Party.

1773-2009 Do so at your own peril.
