Cutter Stands by Libya Comments, Refuses to Resign

DANVILLE, KY - Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter said she would "absolutely not" resign over comments she made earlier today on CNN, asserting that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are the "entire reason" the 9/11 Benghazi massacre is a national political issue. She told Townhall she stands by her remarks and referred back to an official written statement before briskly walking away and refusing to answer further questions:

Cutter is here in Danville to spin Vice President Biden's debate performance later tonight. Prior to the debate, she was laughing and socializing with Washington Post reporters in the media center.

The lies and the cover-up of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Susan Rice, Jay Carney, Stephanie Cutter and the rest of the Barack Obama Administration liars.

Here is a timeline of the situation in Benghazi and the Terrorist attacks on the United States Embassy and the deaths of Christopher Stevens and three others.

  1. This one truly baffles me, and I'm not trying to be a sarcastic jag. Getting involved in Libya like we did was borderline an illegal action. What are not talking about is how, since 9/11, we have granted enormous power the the White House to do things like this and use the national guard and reserve troops as a personal army rather then drafting young people as was done in the past.

Deep down, I think quite a few Republicans agreed with Obama's actions there though they will never say that. Democrats are getting absolutely scorched for not better protecting this compound, rightfully so I guess, but no one wants to challenge the growing authority that has been granted to the White House. Me thinks the Republicans really don't want to walk back that power.
