This one truly baffles me, and I'm not trying to be a sarcastic jag. Getting involved in Libya like we did was borderline an illegal action. What are not talking about is how, since 9/11, we have granted enormous power the the White House to do things like this and use the national guard and reserve troops as a personal army rather then drafting young people as was done in the past.
ReplyDeleteDeep down, I think quite a few Republicans agreed with Obama's actions there though they will never say that. Democrats are getting absolutely scorched for not better protecting this compound, rightfully so I guess, but no one wants to challenge the growing authority that has been granted to the White House. Me thinks the Republicans really don't want to walk back that power.
