The American's Creed

  1. That is inspiring, and I'm not being sarcastic about that. What starts to make me cynical William is that I think you genuinely believe that only people who think like you do, or rather preach the bombast that you do, are capable of living by what is in this creed. You believe me to be a communist or lover of state control of everything, yet my lifestory much more reflects what is in this creed. I've bitched plenty in life, but I've never sat on my ass and waited for someone to give me free shit. I believe there are millions of people who live by this creed but do so without needing to be praised for it.

I put myself through both college degrees, I have zero debt, and I've never taken a government handout. Nor did I ever want one. IDK William, I do and don't understand why words are more important to you than actual deeds. We may disagree in political philosophy, but in true reality, the only actual damage I've done is to support candidates you don't like. This country has become way more interested in perception than in actual outcomes.

  3. Wil only posted this because of the handout stuff. He does think anyone who doesn't think like him is on the dole. NEWSFLASH William........ We are all on the dole one way or the other. If you truly understood your country and it's government you would know that. There are many other ways to benefit from the government then just getting a check. We all do it everyday. It would be a sad sad place to live if it weren't for the ways that the government spends money to the benefit of the average citizen. But then Wil you would be more then happy to return to the 19th century which in today's world would make us the third world country that you are so afraid we are becoming. Keep pushing the minimal government program Wil and you will get what you fear.

    1. You along with Obama do not think that we are an exceptional nation. You talk about government in the first person.

      Happy New Year.

    2. We are an exceptional nation William. But my definition of that exceptionalism as so much of our beliefs differs greatly from yours. Happy New Year to you. Hey that's a great topic let's do it.

    3. There is no doubt that a large percentage of our citizens support your leftest views concerning the value of government. The creed is 180 degrees from your nanny state beliefs.
