One of funniest things I ever hear while working in the markets was an old pearl of wisdom that even a dead cat will bounce if you drop it from high enough.
Ah yes, the old dead cat bounce. Actually, Jeb was once rated highly for his conservative stances, now he is rated low although he has actually moved to the right on most issues. This indicates to me that the Republicans candidates have been scared by the extreme right into positions they would not normally endorse. Of course the Republican leadership is scared even worse by the possibility that one of the three current poll leaders might actually be nominated. They would be delighted if Bush could make a credible run.

ReplyDeleteWould they also be delighted with a record number of voters sitting at home as Jeb isn't what the want or need at this time?
DeleteI don't think any Republican will sit at home if Hillary is the top the Democrat ticket.
