A bit off topic, but here is a method for measuring the speed of light in the safety and comfort of your own home, using those left over marshallow Peeps from Easter.
Good physics there. A bit like FDRs homespun firesides chats during WW2. I take a different approach having spent a year or so exchanging grenades with William on this site. Now, the speed of light seems to me to be the time taken by William to find a reference denigrating anyone but his beloved Tea Party and to get it copied and posted on this site. Please everyone, turn down the visible light intensity on you computer as a burst of tea party inspired energy shall shortly blind you with science!
Cute.... Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWish I had peeps during HS physics.
