Real Dope, or Politics as Usual?

This report from Bloomberg Politics:

In a speech yesterday to the anti-abortion Susan B. Anthony List, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul made his third oblique reference to a scandal that—according to him—will grievously wound Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

"You ever hear 'em ask Hillary Clinton, this money she's getting, whether it influences her decisions?" said Paul, referring to media questions about donors to the Clinton family's charitable organizations. "There's going to be stuff coming out about the Clinton Foundation and their donations from different companies that get special approval from the Secretary of State. Coming out in the next couple of weeks."

  1. The deal is, with every lie, every joke, every rumour and every political attack... there is always an element of truth..... Calling something 'politics as usual doesn't negate the underlying facts, calling them politically motivated just deflects them from the frontal lobe making voting decisions less traumatic and relieving the conscience of having to deal with the conflict....

    1. The reality is any scandal is quickly forgotten as the media sweeps it under the rug, under reports it or ignores it.

The left pretends it's just another partisan attack ignoring the real truth, the right in vain tries to get the message out being labeled extremists.

American politics plus the media at it's finest.

    2. Since we cannot access Mr. And Mrs. Clinton ' s server I think it would be prudent for Mr. Gowdy to subpoena the Clinton Foundation records and their accountants.

  2. Rand also asked the media to inquire of Ms. Wasserman her opinion as to late term abortions. Very interesting response from the DNC leader.

Rand is very good at turning the tables. Unfortunately the media is not so good at following up in most cases.

The primary debates will be very interesting.

  3. Senator Paul has repeated this allegation several times last week. When asked to explain what he knew his response was "Then if wouldn't be a secret".

    1. Mr. Paul is very good at turning the tables. You recall Senate minority leader Reid's response about the bald face lie he told about candidate Romney followed by the comment "he lost didn't he?" Tang in his own way is trying to level the media playing field. Reagan was the master at this tactic. If nothing else these type ' s of responses display the left wing media's hipocracy.

    2. My spell check replaces Rand with Tang. Interesting software indeed.

    3. "Trey Gowdy added that during a visit to CIA headquarters on Tuesday, the committee was given documents on Benghazi that have never been made available to the half-dozen other congressional committees that investigated the terrorist attacks."
