An Interesting Proposal

Conventional schoolyard wisdom holds that the only ways to rid oneself of a bully are to ignore him or punch him back. In the case of Donald Trump, the American media has tried the pugilist's approach with no luck. And so former CNN anchor Campbell Brown argues in a column for Politico Magazine that it's time to stop punching back, and start ignoring the GOP presidential front runner. She is pleading with the TV news media to boycott covering the real estate mogul for one week.
"Let's stop being complicit in promoting his hateful and harmful demagoguery. Just for one week," Brown wrote. "TV turns [Trump] on and only TV can turn him off."

Gone Viral. "This time there is nothing she can do."

http://yournationnews.com/hillary-camp-freaking-out-as-this-video-goes-viral-no-way-to-stop-it-now/

"From the Whitewater Scandal to Benghazi to Emailgate, Hillary’s time in national politics has been spent in constant scandal. The media refuses to discuss the dirty deeds of their favorite candidate, while she has escaped legal consequences due to a large legal team and constant intimidation of anyone who speaks out. This viral video finally gives Americans the information that they need to make an informed decision about Hillary Clinton and may even land her in court with felony charges. This time, there is nothing she can do."

And now the good news

Well, as further proof we have dumbed down our education system, I have managed to complete my NP program with a 4.0 and am only waiting for the official email that says my degree has been awarded. When an obvious communist such as myself, who obviously has zero respect for the constitution can pull this off, it is clear our education system is in the hands of the left. And yes, the left does want to destroy everything sacred to man and laugh while doing it. With a sinister, Grinch like laugh at that.

Speaking of the Grinch, no, not Newt, I'm headed up to Reno later today to visit with my Mom and my Sister for Christmas and to start studying to take my licensing test in early January. If I use my time wisely, I likely won't be chiming in here until after Christmas. So if I don't, I genuinely wish everyone and their families a blessed Christmas. Much as I disagree with some philosophically, there isn't anyone here I wouldn't consider inviting to a holiday feast at my home.

The SpaceX Falcon was successful in delivering satellites into orbit while the first stage reversed and landed at the Kennedy space complex. A great milestone.

Bill Kristol: ‘We’ll Have to Start’ New Party If Trump Wins Nomination

Bill Kristol: ‘We’ll Have to Start’ New Party If Trump Wins Nomination

‪On Monday, Weekly Standard editor-in-chief Bill Kristol tweeted out what the rest of the Republican establishment is thinking: better Hillary than Donald. Here’s the tweet:

Kristol isn’t alone. As I wrote at Daily Wire today, Politico’s Jeff Greenfield says, “If the operatives I talked with are right, Trump running as a Republican could well face a third-party run – from the Republicans themselves.” That follows last Thursday’s Politico column from former New Jersey governor Christine Todd Whitman, who compared Trump to Hitler and called him “evil,” and last Wednesday’s Politico column reporting that Jeb Bush’s aides “began looking into the possibility of making a clear break with Trump – potentially with the candidate stating that, if Trump were the nominee, Bush would not support him.”
Last week, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said that former Mississippi governor Haley Barbour “and a lot of the Republican leaders would much rather Hillary Clinton be President of the United States than have Donald Trump represent them as a Republican.” And in November, The Hill reported that “GOP establishment donors have confided to The Hill that for the first time in recent memory, they find themselves contemplating not supporting a Republican nominee for president.”
I’m old enough to remember when it was scandalous for Trump not to pledge his allegiance to the eventual Republican nominee. Now, day after day, reports from party leaders leak, stating that should Trump gain control over the party apparatus, they will simply smash the machinery.
Classy.
This wouldn’t be the first time.
As Greenfield points out, when iconic conservative Senator Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) won the nomination for president, many of his rivals refused to endorse him for the Oval Office, including Governor Nelson Rockefeller (R-NY) and Governor George Romney (R-MI). Romney ripped Goldwater’s “extremist” supporters” and would later support Gerald Ford over Ronald Reagan in 1976 and George H.W. Bush over Reagan in 1980.
These liberal Republicans, who believed in bigger government, didn’t appreciate Goldwater’s libertarianism and forcibly undercut his doomed bid. Greenfield cites the New York Herald-Tribune going so far as to endorse LBJ, the most leftist president until Barack Obama, for the White House over Goldwater.
And while the Republican establishment would like everyone to think that they were the reason for the rise of Ronald Reagan, they did everything they could to stop Reagan. Not only did establishment Republicans back George H.W. Bush over Reagan in the 1980 primaries – Bush infamously bragged about his support from liberal Republicans like Henry Cabot Lodge – but a few went so far as to support the independent candidacy of former liberal Republican Rep. John Anderson of Illinois, who dumped the Party after Reagan won the nomination. Anderson explained, “I would be more comfortable with Teddy Kennedy in the sense that I do believe that Ronald Reagan’s view of the problems of our day is so utterly inappropriate.”
Obviously, the establishment failed in stopping Reagan. But with the election of H.W. Bush, they grabbed control of the Party again, and they haven’t given it up since.
Today’s establishment Republican “saviors” of the Party like to think of themselves as fighting not Reagan or Goldwater, but David Duke – they color Trump a racist and a xenophobe. The truth, however, is that it wouldn’t matter at all whether Trump were the establishment’s enemy or whether it was Senator
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
97%
, currently the second-place finisher in national polls. So long as the frontrunner remains an outsider, the establishment will use all of its power to stop them, including the threat of a third-party run. Which shows, as always, that they care more about maintaining control of the party apparatus than about beating Hillary Clinton. After all, they said the same about Trump when he was threatening a third-party run.

Create Your Own Super PAC

A Florida man named Josue Larose has had more PACs and super PACs shut down than most Americans will ever create. Apparently living the dream of being the bane of the Florida and Federal Election Commissions' existence, Larose has filed paperwork to create more than 350 political groups this month alone.
Some of his registered organizational names include the United States Billionaires Super PAC, the United States Department of Homeland Security Employees Super PAC, and the American National Professional Racquetball League. Larose is also in violation of some 2,052 counts of election law, generally pertaining to reporting false information on his various filings.
While the election commissions can shut down Larose's inactive PACs, there is little the agencies can do to stop him from creating more. "Any waste of resources is a problem," said former Federal Election Commission general counsel Larry Noble, "But he does have a right to do this." Bonnie Kristian

Interesting times.

The lesson from the last 20 years of immigration policy is that lawlessness breeds more lawlessness. Once a people or a government decides to normalize one form of lawbreaking, other forms of lawlessness will follow until finally the rule of law itself is in profound jeopardy. Today, we have a constitutional crisis on our hands. President Obama has decided that because Congress has not granted amnesty to millions of illegal aliens living in the U.S., he will do so himself.

Article 2, Section 3, of the Constitution mandates that the president “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” This provision assumes that there is a law for the president to execute. But in this case, the “problem” that Obama is purporting to fix is the absence of a law granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. Rather than executing a law, Obama is making one up—arrogating to himself a function that the Constitution explicitly allocates to Congress. Should this unconstitutional power grab stand, we will have moved very far in the direction of rule by dictator. Pace Obama, the absence of a congressional law granting amnesty is not evidence of political failure that must somehow be corrected by unilateral executive action; it is evidence of the lack of popular consensus regarding amnesty. There has been no amnesty statute to date because the political will for such an amnesty is lacking.

On February 16, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen halted President Obama’s illegal amnesty with a temporary injunction. The proposed amnesty program, Judge Hanen found, went far beyond mere prosecutorial discretion not to enforce the law against individuals. Instead, the Department of Homeland Security proposed to confer on illegal aliens a new legal status known as “legal presence.”

But Congress has not granted DHS the power to create and bestow legal status. The amnesty program represented a “complete abdication” of DHS’s responsibility to enforce the law, Judge Hanen declared. Indeed, DHS was actively thwarting the express will of Congress.

Pursuant to traditional canons of judicial interpretation, Judge Hanen ruled against the Obama administration on the narrowest possible grounds in order to avoid reaching the constitutional
question. He based his decision on the law governing agency rulemaking, rather than on separation of powers grounds. But his rebuke was just as scathing.

The administration will likely fight the ruling through the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and, if necessary, all the way to the Supreme Court. Democrats should hope that the administration loses. They are assiduously pretending that Obama’s executive amnesty is merely an innocuous exercise of prosecutorial discretion. But if Obama’s power grab is upheld, they will rue the day that they acceded to this travesty when a Republican president decides, say, to privatize Social Security because Congress has failed to do so.

Obama’s executive amnesty is the most public and egregious example of immigration lawlessness to date. But beneath the radar screen has been an equally telling saga of cascading lawlessness that is arguably as consequential: an ongoing attack on the Secure Communities program and on deportation more generally. Because of this attack, the rallying cry of so many conservatives that we must “secure the borders” is a naïve and meaningless delusion.

Bernie Sanders

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Aides to Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., say he has now received more than 2 million campaign contributions.
The campaign told The Washington Post they expect to surpass President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign by the end of the year. They have already beat out Obama's 2008 presidential run by this point in the election cycle.
While the senator has not raised the most money in the race so far, he has received the largest number of contributions of any candidate in either party.
Sanders' campaign made a big push Wednesday to pass the 2 million mark, which aides say happened around 8:11 p.m. EST. The campaign put together an ad commemorating the event.

According to the Federal Election Commission, Sanders raised just more than $41 million in the last filing period that ended Sept. 30. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton raised just more than $77 million during the same period.

Since the start, Bernie Sanders has built his entire movement on the support of small donors. In fact, he's uniquely positioned among all other presidential challengers in that he refuses to accept money from super PACs and pledges to return their money if it accidentally finds him. The best part is, Sanders walks the walk.
When Martin Shkreli, who infamously jacked up the price of an AIDS medication, donated to the Sanders campaign, Sanders flat out rejected his money. However, rather than returning it to Shkreli, Sanders donated its entirety to an HIV clinic.

Bernie Sanders opens can of whoop-ass on ‘pathological liar’ Donald Trump: ‘Much of what he says are lies’

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) lambasted GOP presidential aspirant Donald Trump on Sunday,  calling the blustery billionaire a “pathological liar” over claims he has made while on the campaign trail
Speaking with host George Stephanopolous on ABC’s This Week, Sanders got right to the point when asked about Trump
“I think, and I say this straightforwardly, you’ve got a pathological liar there,” he stated. “I think much of what he says are lies or gross distortions of reality.”
Sanders hit on Trump’s claims that he saw thousands of Muslims celebrating as the Twin Towers collapsed on 9/11,  saying , “Either that’s true, or it’s not true.”
“From what I understand there has been a lot of research, they archive what goes on television, you’re a TV guy, right? Everyone was saying it’s gotta be archived. Either it is true or it’s not true,” he said. “Nobody has seen a tape of thousands of people celebrating the destruction of the Twin Towers in New Jersey. It doesn’t exist and he keeps claiming it. That’s called pathological lying.”
What somebody like a Donald Trump is doing, is playing on the fears and anxieties of the American public,” Sanders explained. “And people are afraid. They’re afraid of terrorism, rightfully so. They’re anxious about an economy in which the middle class is disappearing, we’re seeing massive examples of income and wealth inequality, people are worried about the future for their kids. These are legitimate fears. So instead of having a rational discussion about how we rebuild the middle class, how we deal with Wall Street, how we have a tax system in which the wealthy and powerful start paying their fair share of taxes — what Trump is saying is, ‘It’s all the Muslims fault. It’s all the Mexicans fault.'”

The laughable new budget

Per the new speaker, Paul Boehner.

“We played the cards that were dealt the best we can.” Ryan also cited the halt to an export ban on crude oil as a victory for the GOP. One can only ask in astonishment: “You were dealt a hand? Who was dealing the hand? Are not Republicans running the House?” With all due respect to the Speaker, he is making it sound like he and his GOP colleagues are Martians who just landed in a new world and are stuck with the mess they discovered. Not to put too fine a point on this but — hello? — Ryan and the GOP were in charge in the first place! They elected John Boehner Speaker of the House. They dealt the cards. And suddenly now they are mystified at the cards they dealt themselves?
Help me here.

Boehner reprehensible at best replaced by his brother as much as it changes it stays the same.

But Dem's do not rejoice as your no better as in 2006 you chanted give us the power to stop the GOP's excessive spending.  Done and then the spendfest began.  It continues today with a new partisan entitlement program which insure more people and provides little improvement.  Is it worth 1/4th of all government spending?

The right complains and does nothing.  The left complains and does the same.  Neither party is worthy of our votes as the government like a virus continues to grow unabated consuming the host.

Trump Riles The GOP Establishment Again

Four years ago Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee, stood before the American public and definitively stated that Russia was America's biggest "geopolitical foe."
This week, the far-and-away Republican poll leader Donald Trump gave Vladimir Putin a big, wet kiss, calling him "a strong leader" and saying it was a "great honor" to have Putin compliment him.
Trump's warm embrace of the Russian president has shocked and alarmed the Republican establishment. There's no secret about why Trump has psychologically tethered himself to Putin, whose bombast rivals that of the U.S. billionaire businessman and whose own strongman reputation reinforces Trump's. But as the United States and its allies try to beat back Russia's intrusions into Ukraine and Syria, Trump has ruffled countless feathers by cozying up to the Russian leader.

Bernie Sanders' campaign manager accuses Democratic National Committee of trying to sabotage the campaign with punishment over voter data breach.

The DNC said Friday the Sanders campaign won’t regain access until “the DNC is provided with a full accounting of whether or not this information was used and the way in which it was disposed.”

“That's why it is so troubling to see the DNC engage in such heavy-handed favoritism benefitting Hillary Clinton.”
Uretsky, the Sanders campaign’s now-ex-data director, defended himself Friday.
Uretzky said he didn’t steal any data — he was just trying to understand how a network error affected the campaign’s private voter data.
"We knew there was a security breach in the data, and we were just trying to understand it and what was happening," Uretzky said in an interview with CNN. "I got a little panicky because our data was totally exposed, too."
Uretsky, an experienced computer programmer who has worked on numerous campaigns, said he did not "gain any material benefit" from poking around in the data.
But he accepted full responsibility for the incident.
“To the best of my knowledge, nobody took anything that would have given the (Sanders) campaign any benefit," Uretzky said. "It was 100% my responsibly and I take full responsibility for whatever happened."

Is the DNC now actively trying to undermine Sanders??

A network glitch allowed a Sanders staffer to access voter data belonging to the Clinton campaign, the DNC said.
Sanders’ campaign fired the staffer, identified as Josh Uretsky, on Thursday after learning of his snooping.

I wonder did the staffer do it on purpose or was it a stumbled upon it incident?
WHat harn did it do?
Isn't firing the person enough?

Doesn't the action by the DNC undermine the will of a portion of the Party and American people?

What................

10 WTF Moments From the Fifth GOP Debate

By

gop debate
The fifth GOP debate aired on CNN Tuesday evening. Justin Sullivan/Getty

1. Jeb Bush and Donald Trump Fight to the Death
Bush: "So Donald, you know, is great at — at the one-liners, but he's a chaos candidate. And he'd be a chaos president."
Jeb Bush's campaign is flailing, and he believes attacking frontrunner Donald Trump is his only shot at clawing his way back to the top. He is utterly disgusted with Trump's rise — and who can blame him?
On Tuesday night Bush said Trump lacked seriousness, and his approach to beating ISIS was "just crazy." And Trump's response — as always — was that he's beating Bush in the polls. "He said that very simply because he has failed in this campaign," Trump pointed out, correctly. "It's been a total disaster."
And for that, Jeb doesn't have a comeback.

2. John Kasich Wanted to Change the Paris Talks' Agenda
Kasich: "And when I see they have a climate conference over in Paris, they should have been talking about destroying ISIS because they are involved in virtually every country, you know, across this world."
Nearly 200 nations just signed a historic accord to fight climate change, a global challenge that has the power to devastate every country on the planet. On a stage full of global warming deniers, John Kasich, who likes to present himself as the serious candidate, said we should have canceled the Paris talks — years in the planning and execution — and replaced it with a conference to discuss ISIS.
It was an idea so crazy it could have come from Donald Trump.

3. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio Go at Each Other's Throats
Cruz: "...they are knowingly false and they are, in fact, Alinsky-like attacks like Barack Obama."
While Bush is trying to jump about five places in line by going directly after Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz know they have the best shots at knocking the frontrunner off his perch. But first each has to beat the other.
They hit each other multiple times tonight, but the defining moment was an early sparring over surveillance: Cruz voted for the renewal of the Patriot Act that eliminated the metadata collection program; Rubio voted for it. What mattered wasn't their positions — they're both in favor of surveilling the American people to an uncomfortable degree — but Cruz's assertion that Rubio was lying about both the bill and Cruz's position. He would do that throughout the night.

4. Yes, Donald Trump Really Wants to Shut Down Parts of the Internet
Trump: "What I wanted to do is I wanted to get our brilliant people from Silicon Valley and other places and figure out a way that ISIS cannot do what they're doing."
Trump literally wants to shut down parts of the Internet to defeat ISIS. Let's ignore the part where that actually makes it tougher to track what terrorists want to do. Let's ignore the gross violation of the First Amendment.
Let's instead talk about how Donald Trump thinks the Internet is a magic room full of on/off switches, some of which are labeled THE PART THAT ISIS IS USING. Speaking of magic plans to defeat ISIS…

5. Ted Cruz Wants to Use Magic Bombs to Kill ISIS Dead
Cruz: "You would carpet bomb where ISIS is, not a city, but the location of the troops."

CNN's Wolf Blitzer pushed Cruz to answer whether he would "carpet bomb" the ISIS capital of Raqqa, which is still home to hundreds of thousands of civilians (in case you were wondering where refugees come from), and Cruz insisted he would only carpet bomb ISIS troops, not the city....
...the same city full of ISIS troops. Maybe he'll use magic carpet bombs that somehow distinguish between good guys and bad guys.

6. Donald Trump Will Murder Terrorists' Families
Trump: "I would be very, very firm with families."
It takes a special sort of commitment to medieval justice to go after the families of criminals for their sins, but that's exactly what Donald Trump is promising to do as president. He has promised to kill the families of terrorists, and when faced with a question tonight calling him on this extremely insane plan, he confirmed that he would go after innocents just for being related to terrorists.
The audience applauded him for it.

7. Ben Carson Will Bomb Kids to Death Because They Didn't Like Getting Brain Surgery
Carson: "They're not happy about it, believe me. And they don't like me very much at that point. But later on, they love me."
Right-wing radio host Hugh Hewitt, who for some reason CNN has allowed to ask questions at two presidential debates, asked Carson if being a nice guy who has cured children he could as commander and chief order bombings that could kill children by the thousands. (He didn't ask if it would be a good idea to order such bombings. It would not.)
Carson said kids didn't like it when he said he'd have to open up their skulls to pick out pieces of their tiny brains, but later they loved him. I'm not sure how that was relevant, because I don't think the children he rained fire down from the sky upon would love him for that.

8. Donald Trump Is a Filthy Liberal
Trump: "We could've spent that $4 trillion in the United States to fix our roads, our bridges, and all of the other problems; our airports and all of the other problems we've had, we would've been a lot better off. I can tell you that right now."
Donald Trump thinks we should have spent the money on the Iraq War on our infrastructure instead. He also said we would have been better off using that money on our schools and hospitals.
He's … exactly right?

9. Ben Carson Uses All His Foreign Policy Flashcards in One Answer
Carson: "I think we can use that in order to keep Putin contained, because he is a one-horse show. Energy. And we have an abundance of energy, but we have archaic energy exportation rules. We need to get rid of those, allow ourselves to really make Europe dependent on us and other parts of the world dependent on us for energy. Put him back in his little box where he belongs.
The question was about North Korea.

10. Donald Trump Is the Scariest Person on the Planet
Trump: "Well, first of all, I think we need somebody absolutely that we can trust, who is totally responsible; who really knows what he or she is doing. That is so powerful and so important. And one of the things that I'm frankly most proud of is that in 2003, 2004, I was totally against going into Iraq because you're going to destabilize the Middle East. I called it. I called it very strongly. And it was very important."

Donald Trump was asked what his top priority would be in maintaining our nuclear triad, the three tools we have to deliver nuclear weapons (air-, land-, and sea-based systems, essentially).
Trump had no idea what the triad was or even what a basic priority for a president should be when it comes to our nuclear arsenal. Trump is famous for skipping the specifics, but he reached a new terrifying level of vagueness on this question. We should trust him with our nuclear arsenal because he opposed the Iraq War?
His answer was rambling, incoherent, and honestly terrifying. It should remind people that putting the most powerful nuclear arsenal in the hands of a man who can't muster a more intelligent statement than "I think, for me, nuclear is just the power, the devastation is very important to me" is perhaps an ill-advised idea.
That answer should have been the end of his campaign. But one thing we've learned is that nothing Donald Trump says has any consequences for Donald Trump's quest for the presidency.

Trump states the obvious

From the debate transcript
"TRUMP: In my opinion, we’ve spent $4 trillion trying to topple various people that frankly, if they were there and if we could’ve spent that $4 trillion in the United States to fix our roads, our bridges, and all of the other problems; our airports and all of the other problems we’ve had, we would’ve been a lot better off. I can tell you that right now.
We have done a tremendous disservice, not only to Middle East, we’ve done a tremendous disservice to humanity. The people that have been killed, the people that have wiped away, and for what? It’s not like we had victory.
It’s a mess. The Middle East is totally destabilized. A total and complete mess. I wish we had the $4 trillion or $5 trillion. I wish it were spent right here in the United States, on our schools, hospitals, roads, airports, and everything else that are all falling apart."
He then got chastised by Fiorna for sounding like Obama, and Trump responded with
"TRUMP: Well, there’s nothing to respond to. Well, people feel differently. I mean, the fact is Benghazi was a disaster because of Libya, everything just fell into place. It could not have been worse.
What do we have now? We have nothing. We’ve spent $3 trillion and probably much more – I have no idea what we’ve spent. Thousands and thousands of lives, we have nothing. Wounded warriors all over the place who I love, we have nothing for it."
Now of course, the ongoing story line is that the problem is Obama, and that if we just change his war hawk advisors with other war hawk advisors, this regime change strategy will work. Regardless of whatever else Trump said last night, his statements here, which BTW were totally in line with what Paul was saying, state the obvious reality today. Because Republican voters hate Obama the way a lot of Democrats hated Bush, I think they will find a way to skirt what Trump said and will continue to say that a stupid policy only looks stupid because Obama is bad at implementing it. Still, I think Trump openly attacked what has been a mainstay Republican policy for years.
I tend to think this post will likely open a discussion on every fault of Obama, which is too bad, because this really isn't about Obama, who is leaving office. Trump, and (finally) Paul got to have the bullhorn to call bullshit on our warring and "nation building" and they labeled it the complete failure that it is. It's not a failure of leadership, it's a failure in thinking to believe we can control the middle east with an iron fist and be safe at home because of it.

TOP SECRET

Sources: Review affirms Clinton server emails were 'top secret,' despite department challenge

Top GOP senators probe into Clinton emails

EXCLUSIVE: An intelligence community review has re-affirmed that two classified emails were indeed “top secret” when they hit Hillary Clinton’s unsecured personal server despite a challenge to that designation by the State Department, according to two sources familiar with the review.

The sources described the dispute over whether the two emails were classified at the highest level as a “settled matter.”

The agencies that owned and originated that intelligence – the CIA and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency or NGA – reviewed the emails to determine how they should be properly stored, as the State Department took issue with their highly classified nature. The subject matter of the messages is widely reported to be the movement of North Korean missiles and a drone strike. A top secret designation requires the highest level of security, and can include the use of an approved safe.

The sources, who were not authorized to speak on the record, told Fox News that while the emails were indeed “top secret” when they hit Clinton’s server, one of them remains “top secret” to this day -- and must be handled at the highest security level. The second email is still considered classified but at the lower “secret” level because more information is publicly available about the event.

The findings have been transmitted to the State Department, which continues to challenge the intelligence community’s conclusions about the classification of all the emails. But the department has no authority to change the classification since it did not originate the information.

On Nov. 6, Politico reported that the intelligence community was retreating from the “top secret” classification, a development that could have helped Clinton’s presidential campaign deflect allegations about mishandling classified material. Fox News can confirm it is true the handling of one email has changed since it was drafted and sent, but this change has no bearing on the “top secret” nature of the emails when first received on Clinton’s server. And this is what matters to the FBI probe.

While the classification finding is important, the central issue is whether the FBI investigation concludes there was or was not a criminal violation.

Fox News reported earlier this month that two top Republican senators have written directly to Secretary of State John Kerry and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper about possible leaks from their departments on their review of Clinton’s emails -- wrongly leaving the impression that the two “top secret” messages were not that sensitive.

The letter was sent by Republican Sen. Bob Corker, who chairs the Foreign Relations Committee, and Sen. Richard Burr, who heads the powerful Intelligence Committee, on Nov. 13, with copies sent three days later to the intelligence community and State Department watchdogs known as inspectors general. The IGs were asked to conduct an independent review of the process.

While the senators’ letter is not public, Fox News has confirmed that the senators cited the Politico report from Nov. 6 where unnamed sources claimed the two “top secret” emails had been downgraded after a second review. While hailed by Clinton’s supporters as evidence she did not break the law and send classified information on her personal email account, the Politico story was later updated to reflect the fact that Clapper’s office said the review was ongoing.

On the other, the cost of the individual mandate penalty is cheaper than buying the least expensive insurance plan for 7.1 million of the nearly 11 million uninsured eligible to enroll in health exchanges, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation analysis released Wednesday.

The individual mandate fee is a crux of the Affordable Care Act, aiming to serve as a motivator for Americans to sign up for health coverage, particularly “young invincibles” ages 18 to 34. If they don’t, they’ll be faced with the total cost of their health bills. Yet, just how many people this will incentivize is unclear.

About 12 million received exemptions from the individual mandate due to hardships, financial status, and life events.
Next year those who decided against enrolling in a health plan will have to pay a much higher tax for not having health insurance in 2016 which they will feel when they file their federal taxes due April 2017.   The cost: $695 per adult and $347.50 per child or 2.5 percent of a household’s income.  the higher number rules.

Will people who cannot afford the deductible pay the tax or buy insurance they cannot use?  Will those that are healthy opt out and just pay the tax.

What's the future for the ACA?  The cost of healthcare will continue to rise as inflation does that to everything.  Doctors need to be paid, Max needs to be paid, hospitals need to be paid.  We all demand the latest and greatest, the best tests yet complain about the cost of healthcare.  Will the government issue larger subsidies to offset the higher costs?  Will taxes need to be raised to support higher subsidies or will enrollment begin to slip as premiums rise?

Guess What Fracking Has Done

The U.S. carbon footprint is less than that of any other developed nation. Experts attribute this, in part, to fracking which produces an abundance of clean natural gas.

UT oh Starbucks

Today was the day for my wife and I to get the majority of our Christmas shopping done. Got to get the stuff wrapped and sent to Texas where the kids are. We started our day by getting the world's best Dunkin Donuts coffee. Guess what the cups were definitely Christmas. There were sprigs of pine on them and the word JOY. The Dunkin Donuts logo was also red and green. Now being an atheist one might think that would upset me. Well guess again I was after the goodness in the cup. I could care less what the cup looked like, what color it was or what pictures were on it. White red green or shit brown (Starbucks usual color) Coffee is coffee as long as I don't have to carry it out in my bare hands I'm good.  I think Starbucks will survive this cup coup also.

Students Demand Building Called ‘Lynch’ Be Renamed Because of Racial OvertonesBy Associated

Students at Lebanon Valley College are asking administrators to change the name of "Lynch Memorial Hall," because of racial overtones. (Published Wednesday, Dec 9, 2015)

Students at a small Pennsylvania college are demanding that administrators rename a building called “Lynch Memorial Hall'' because of the racial overtones of the word “lynch.''

The building is named after Clyde A. Lynch, who was president of Lebanon Valley College from 1932 until his death in 1950.

Students want school officials to either rename the building entirely or add Lynch's first name and middle initial, saying the word recalls the public executions of black men by white mobs in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

It was included on a list of demands that students presented to the school on Friday. Other demands include a more diverse curriculum, more sensitivity training for staff and regular surveys of the racial climate on campus.

School spokesman Marty Parkes said Tuesday that President Lewis Thayne is considering all of the demands and will address them at a forum next month.

Calling Lynch a “very important figure'' in the history of the college, Parkes said officials want to avoid “doing anything that would denigrate his memory or his legacy here.''

The school's website says Lynch led the college through the Great Depression and World War II and raised $550,000 for a new physical education building. The building that bears his name houses several academic departments.

The controversy over the name was first reported by Pennlive.com.

Lebanon Valley College has about 1,600 undergraduates. It's 90 miles west of Philadelphia.

Judicial Watch: New Benghazi Email Shows DOD Offered State Department “Forces that Could Move to Benghazi” Immediately – Specifics Blacked Out in New Document

DECEMBER 08, 2015

“They are spinning up as we speak.” U.S. Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash Tuesday, September 11, 2012, 7:19 PM

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.

Bash’s email seems to directly contradict testimony given by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta before the Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”

The first assault occurred at the main compound at about 9:40 pm local time – 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, DC.  The second attack on a CIA annex 1.2 miles away began three hours later, at about 12 am local time the following morning – 6 p.m. ET.

The newly released email reads:

From: Bash, Jeremy CIV SD [REDACTED]
Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 7:19 PM
To: Sullivan, Jacob J; Sherman, Wendy R; Nides, Thomas R
Cc: Miller, James HON OSD POLICY; Wienefeld, James A ADM JSC VCJCS; Kelly, John LtGen SD; martin, dempsey [REDACTED]
Subject: Libya

State colleagues:

I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton].

After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak. They include a [REDACTED].

Assuming Principals agree to deploy these elements, we will ask State to procure the approval from host nation. Please advise how you wish to convey that approval to us [REDACTED].

Jeremy

Jacob Sullivan was Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the time of the terrorist attack at Benghazi.  Wendy Sherman was Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, the fourth-ranking official in the U.S. Department of State. Thomas Nides was the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources.

The timing of the Bash email is particularly significant based upontestimony given to members of Congress by Gregory Hicks, Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. embassy in Tripoli at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attack. According to Hicks’ 2013 testimony, a show of force by the U.S. military during the siege could have prevented much of the carnage. Said Hicks, “if we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced, I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”

Ultimately, Special Operations forces on their own initiative traveled from Tripoli to Benghazi to provide support during the attack.  Other military assets were only used to recover the dead and wounded, and to evacuate U.S. personnel from Libya.  In fact, other documents released in October by Judicial Watch show that only one U.S. plane was available to evacuate Americans from Benghazi to Tripoli and raise questions about whether a delay of military support led to additional deaths in Benghazi.

The new email came as a result of a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed on September 4, 2014 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)), seeking:

Records related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.

“The Obama administration and Clinton officials hid this compelling Benghazi email for years,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The email makes readily apparent that the military was prepared to launch immediate assistance that could have made a difference, at least at the CIA Annex.  The fact that the Obama Administration withheld this email for so long only worsens the scandal of Benghazi.”

Thoughts about Trump and Hillary

I am not a Hillary Clinton fan and the only way to guarantee she gets my vote in the general will be if Trump is the Republican candidate. I don't think she is the best the Democrats have to offer, and I don't think she will have the ability to escape the baggage of her husband, or the ridiculous and petty Benghazi hearings. Deep down, I really don't think Clinton is all that different from anyone else in Washington, certainly no different than the people persecuting her. If we really wanted honesty, neither Clinton nor Trump would be leading their respective races. In today's political scene, EVERYTHING is personal. At one time perhaps we might have said, "It's just politics", but that's no longer the case.

Objectively, I think Clinton can do the job, I just don't like her politics. Trump can probably do the job as well because unlike the people he is running against, Trump knows something about getting his way and has no shame whatsoever when it comes to getting what he wants. Would either of them present the best that America has to offer? Nope. But both would operate on what has become an ingrained American trait, which is that winning is everything, no matter what you have to do get there. The American public is very unhappy, and ironically, for a multitude of seemingly disconnected reasons that are very bipolar. Pretty much everybody is unhappy about something, and day after day, more and more people seem to be believing that their unhappiness is being caused by someone taking advantage of them. We are becoming ripe to produce a true dictator and it really won't matter all that much which party they come from. Maybe not this election, but we are headed in that direction.

Ya just gotta call this lying....... There's no other name for it.

Donald Trump’s Bullshitopedia

Trump asserts that “[The 9/11 hijackers] put their families on airplanes, couple of days before, sent them back to Saudi Arabia for the most part. Those wives knew exactly what was going to happen.” Except only one of the nineteen hijackers was married.

Trump said that 100 black pastors would endorse him. Pastors say not so.

Trump said he didn’t mock, or even know, the reporter whose disabilities he mocked and knew for a decade.

Trump: “I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering” as the World Trade Center collapsed – which never happened.

People on the terrorism watch are already prohibited from buying guns. Nope.

Thirteen Syrian refugees were “caught trying to get into the U.S.” but actually surrendered at the border seeking asylum.

Trump denied saying that he supported a database of Muslims, even though he said more than once on video.

The federal government is sending refugees to states with governors who are “Republicans, not to the Democrats.”

The Trans-Pacific Partnership “was designed for China to come in, as they always do, through the back door and totally take advantage of everyone.”

The Obama administration wants to admit 250,000 Syrian refugees. He’s off by 240,000.

He was on 60 Minutes with Vladimir Putin and “got to know him very well.” Except that they were interviewed separately thousands of miles apart.

Climate change is a hoax invented by the Chinese.

Says his plan would cut taxes without increasing the deficit.

“I never said that” Marco Rubio was Mark Zuckerberg’s personal senator.

His criticism of Ford prompted the company to move a factory from Mexico to Ohio.

Says Bernie Sanders is going to “tax you people at 90 percent.”

Trump said that “We have the highest tax rate anywhere in the world.”

Among Syrian refugees, “there aren’t that many women, there aren’t that many children.”

The unemployment rate may be as high as “42 percent.”

Trump: The birther movement was started by Hillary Clinton in 2008. She was all in!

Said he was never interested in opening a casino in Florida.

Says Mexico doesn’t have birthright citizenship, and Americans are the “only ones” to have it.

Claimed he was talking about Carly Fiorina’s “persona” when he said “Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?”

Under the Iran deal: “If Israel attacks Iran … we’re supposed to be on Iran’s side.”

Vaccines cause autism.

He never said the stuff Megyn Kelly accused him of saying in the first debate.

Trump says that “The Mexican government … they send the bad ones over.”

The number of illegal immigrants in the United States is “30 million, it could be 34 million.”.

Trump: If you’re from Syria and you’re a Christian, you cannot come into this country” as a refugee.

Says his book, The Art of the Deal, is “the No. 1 selling business book of all time.”

Trump: The last quarter, it was just announced, our gross domestic product … was below zero. Who ever heard of this? It’s never below zero.

Trump: The Islamic State just built a hotel in Syria.

Says President Barack Obama’s recent New York fundraising trip cost between $25 million and $50 million.

ObamaCare enrollment lie: Obama counts an enrollee as a web user putting a plan in ‘their online shopping carts.’

President Obama has spent over $2 million in legal fees defending lawsuits about his birth certificate.

The people that went to school with (Obama), they never saw him, they don’t know who he is.

These are not differences of opinion. They are outright, provable falsehoods. Not a single one is remotely true. And even when Trump is shown the proof he insists that he is right and that reality is wrong. And as Stephen Colbert told us, “Reality has a well-known liberal bias.” That’s the only possible explanation for Trump’s relentless lying. He even lies about trivial matters for which he has little to gain. For instance, this weekend he claimed that 12,000 people attended his rally at the Robarts Arena in Sarasota, Florida – which has a maximum capacity of 4,100.

The fact that Trump still manages to attract supporters who are willing to look past his shameless mendacity, and worse, to revere him as a quasi-savior, is a frightening testament to the decline of American democracy. These are people who not only submit blissfully to being lied to, they embrace a philosophy of bigotry, division, fear, and the authoritarian strains of fascism. They have abandoned whatever tendencies they may have had toward freedom, in favor of a despot who reeks of false and unattainable promises of security and prosperity. It is the behavior of cultists who have surrendered to mindless discipleship and have lost the ability to discern fantasy from reality. It’s a learned response that has been ingrained from watching way too much Fox News.

You have got to have good swimmers.

Sperm donor has become dad to 54 children and even launched his own app

19:10, 5 DEC 2015UPDATED 10:23, 6 DEC 2015BY LEWIS PANTHER

Declan Rooney offers hope for a family to those who cannot become parents by the usual means

Andy Commins/Daily Mirror

Dad's the word: Declan Rooney with one of the many children he has fathered, Elijah Metcalf and proud parents (l-r) Coleen Roberts and Katie Metcalf

Middle-aged, grey-haired and mild-mannered – it’s hard to believe that dapper Declan Rooney is a one-man babymaking machine.

But in a few months time he’ll have fathered FIFTY-FOUR in an astonishing crusade to help women struggling to have children.

This year alone Declan has notched up 31births after setting up an online sperm donation website last year.

Now he even has a smartphone app offering his services as a private donor and a free alternative to clinics.

And with 15 more buns in the oven, he has no intention of stopping – despite causing uproar among family campaigners.

Today Declan, 43 – who has eight children of his own with four different women – wants to hit back at critics of unregulated sperm donation, insisting in his case that everything is above board.

Read more: Man dubbed 'Sperminator' after fathering TEN kids with nine different women claims he's better than a sperm bank

Looking exasperated while nursing the result of one of his donations, Declan said: “I’m a nice guy. Why can’t people understand I am just doing this to help out?”

He insists he has not received any money as a donor apart from petrol expenses to deliver the sperm to the mother – once, he admits, in a takeaway coffee cup.

“Egg donors get treated like saints, sperm donors get treated like back alley, smutty boys,” says Declan. “But I’m not doing a bad thing. I’m not ashamed. I have helped women create families.

And some like what he offers so much, he even gets repeat business. “I have seen five of the children in the past month because I have been donating for siblings,” he says.

Declan insists he imposes strict conditions on his services, which includes no sexual contact and banning women from smoking while they are trying to conceive. He also checks potential parents out to make sure they can afford a child.

The former graffiti artist and website designer decided to start donating sperm in March last year.

He said: “There wasn’t a eureka moment. I just felt as I was in the right place and time of my life.

“It’s not really on an industrial scale. The first children were born last December and will be one this month.

“All of the recipients keep in touch. All the babies are healthy and happy. I have a watchful eye. They send me feedback and tell me how the children are doing.”

He knows that 17 of the 31 children born so far are boys and 14 are girls.

After setting up his website, the requests soon started rolling in.

“I’ve been inundated from the start. There were women who had been trying to have a baby for three or four years so it was very busy to begin with.

“I have helped people who have been to clinics where it’s failed, and it has worked first time with me. There are more babies born in the UK by private donation than through private clinics.

Andy Commins/Daily Mirror

Womb picture: The scan is of Elijah Metcalf, who is now aged 7 weeks - one of Declan's children

“It’s because it works – and I have a really high first time success rate, over 50 per cent. “I once had three successes in 24 hours, but I wouldn’t make a habit of it. You can’t control when a woman is going to ovulate.

“Timing is crucial. You ask a lot of questions, about pee sticks, body signs, temperature. That all goes back and forth. A lot of guys think becoming a sperm donor is really easy. It’s not. You have got to have good swimmers.”

Declan says he warns women to stay well away from private donors who try to charge for their sperm, which is illegal.

He says he has been offered “payments in kind”, but always refuses.

“I’ve been contacted by people from abroad and offered free flights to the West Indies,” he says. “But I haven’t gone down that route. Long haul flights are not good for the swimmers.” Declan says almost 75 per cent of his donations take place in the homes of recipients, with another 20 per cent in hotels and the rest elsewhere.

His most bizarre donation involved meeting a woman at a museum. He had to hand over a coffee cup of his sperm after producing it in disabled toilets.

He ended up drawing unwanted attention to himself when he accidentally pulled the emergency cord on his way out.

Declan usually insists the recipients provide their own sterile sample kits. He says some of his clients simply want a baby without involving a man.

“One was a victim of abuse. She was desperate to be a mum but adamant she never wanted a sexual relationship,” he says. “Another was in her early 40s caring alone for elderly parents. A sperm donor was her only way of getting pregnant as she had no time to meet a man.

“One lady was born severely disfigured and believed she was unable to have sex.I could have gone to bed with quite a few of my successes, but it’s not about that. It’s about helping other people. When I have been successful and get a message from the pregnant woman, it makes me happy.”

He says he’s only had one recipient “go missing” on him.

“But her friends busted her,” he says. “It’s called sperm-jacking. She sent a picture of a negative pregnancy test, but her friends told me she was actually pregnant.”

Declan’s current partner knows about his donations and he says she is OK with what he is doing.

But he adds: “My eldest child isn’t too happy about it, but she found out before I was able to tell her. Two of my children are at university. The others are too young to understand. I’m a nice person.”

Helping out: Declan also has EIGHT children of his own with four different women

Two of the women who have had children with Declan are already trying to get pregnant again. And five of his donor babies have met each other because the mums are friends.

He says: “I have got things in place where everyone knows who everyone is, but privacy is still respected. I don’t pressurise people into telling me they are pregnant.

“But everyone is playing ball and everyone is nice. I am doing the right thing by the recipients and they are doing the right thing by me.”

But Declan admits the pressure of being an in-demand babymaker has been getting to him, so much so he is scaling down his operation a tad.

“Nowadays I try not to do more than two in a day. Maybe one in the morning and one in the evening,” he says. “Last December it was 40 in the month. I am winding it down. It’s about 10 a month.

“It’s quite a stressful thing to do, donating and having a sexual partner at the same time.”

The prolific dad has a three-year-old boy, a two-year-old daughter and a year-old girl aged one from his present relationship. He is also aware that children conceived using donor eggs or sperm can trace their biological parent once they reach 18, in the same way as children who are adopted.

So there could be a lot of knocking at his door in Teesside when he’s in his 60s.

One thing Declan is not concerned about is being stitched up by the mums he vets so carefully.

“I’m not worried about CSA claims because of the people I’ve chosen to help. It’s all done on trust. I don’t expect any problems,” he says.

“If the CSA do want to take it on, I’ll say, ‘I’ve got 50 kids, you work it out’.
