Need health insurance? The Obama administration has you covered.
Simply dial 1-800-FUCKYO to reach the next available health-care
provider.
Far from being a mistype, that’s the official number that Health and
Human Services wants Americans to dial when seeking health care.
Obamacare’s national call
center really did list its number as 1-800-318-2596, helpfully spelling
out President Barack Obama’s tendency to blatantly flip the bird in
plain view.
After allowing for the lack of letters attached to 1 on a traditional American telephone keypad, the number spells out a clear message.
For every duped voter, every young invincible weighing the cost of a
penalty versus a newly tripled yearly deductible, every ailing old
granny in a wheelchair (whom, remember, Paul Ryan wants to push off a
cliff) who needs adequate and affordable health care, Obama’s message
is:

ReplyDeleteDelayed reaction I guess.
You can't make this stuff up.
ReplyDeleteNo way. Can't believe they are for real.
DeleteBut sad to say they are.
Hard to believe that number wasn't already taken by a porno company or a lawyer.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that some of the same people who are against Obamacare, are actually glad to have it. I know many practicing Republicans(and Dems of course) who have kids in college or children who have graduated, who are under 26 years old, but can't find a job. Of course, instead of having to get COBRA, a high cost medical care alternative which was what we had, those kids are now going to be covered under Obamacare. Obamacare makes sense and it is good that people with pre-existing medical issues, will also be covered by Obamacare.
ReplyDeletePresident Obama deserves to have this health care named after him. We will all be better off once the glitches are ironed out. It isn't a perfect system, but the one we have had was a mess and needed to be overhauled. The Democrats are now responsible for Social Security, Medicare and Obamacare, three great programs that have helped the middle and lower classes our great nation. -USSNJ
I am glad that some healthcare lacking conservative had time to sit and figure that out. All numbers except 1 and 9 (has 4) have 3 letters so what does it matter. You can get a lot of negative words from various phone numbers, numbers assigned by the carriers not one you pick. Believe me if this number was chosen it would be much simpler ( the numbers). Another hollow victory. Nobody cares.
ReplyDeleteRickey I thought that it was quite funny, and from my viewpoint was very fitting.
DeleteAfter all appears to sum up the attitude of the Democratic Party,
We will agree to disagree on who cares and who doesn't .You in?
