It has always been in the background, as there is little profit to be made from it. However, a lengthy ice age would do far more damage to this planet and its populations than any, ANY, warming.

DeleteOh, there's money in it, TD, they just haven't figured how to save face by changing over. As soon as they do it will be a simple matter to change the headlines to Global Cooling (after placing Global Warming in a warehouse for a few years while awaiting another pendulum swing).
