One of many elephants in the room

So, Kevin McCarthy comes right out and admits the obvious on the Benghazi, namely that the endless regurgitation of the events in Benghazi has one sole purpose, and that is to damage Hillary Clinton in the eyes of those who aren't Republicans.

It's good to know that while Democrats are being instructed not to politicize the shooting in Oregon, we have such upstanding legislators like McCarthy who have the best interests of the nation foremost in his mind. I hope Boehner got a laugh out of watching McCarthy look helpless while Hannity pummeled him.

  1. I don't think anyone was surprised that the Benghazi probe was political, that's what politicians do isn't it ?, It was the brash admission by McCarthy that was surprising.

    1. Agreed, he completely screwed that one up. It was even more laughable to hear people like Chaffetz and Goudy say that his comments diminished the important work they were doing.

    3. Yeah, I saw something on that last night. At the end of this article, it says the Democrats are going to give Gowdy five days to say whether the testimony must be withheld from the public. Of course he will. If they are gonna do it, they oughta just do it. This stuff has been a sham from the start led by vindictive Republican assholes. I could care less about Queen Hillary, but these hearings, somewhat ironically, are the epitome of McCarthyism.

  2. Bwahahahah!!! Oh my goodness, I'm shocked!!!

I'll admit to forsaking any moral high ground I may have held (real or imagined), I'm doing a total "I-Told-You-So" dance right now.

Where are all the comments from the Birthers - er - I mean the "Benghazi-ers" on the board?

    (crickets)
