    1. Most of the people that have announced should slide out of the picture.

    2. "Meanwhile, Mr. McCain described former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s work on the global level as “rock star” status, The New Republic reported.

“I think she did a fine job,” he said, in the magazine. “She’s a rock star. She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world.”

Mr. McCain also said moments later in the interview that he would have “a tough choice” to make in a presidential election that pitted Mrs. Clinton against Sen. Rand Paul, The New Republic reported."

Are we really surprised when he hear that one DC insider would cross party lines to support another socialist? Not really.

  3. Well, I voted for McCain and Palin because I think he is an experienced politician who knows how to get things done. He also speaks his mind. He is a genuine American hero. His choice of Palin was unfortunate and, in my opinion, lost him many votes. But, in the end, when it comes to American politics, he knows what he is talking about. The Republicans would do well to listen to him.

    1. I one respect, I felt bad for McCain in his unfortunate choice of Palin and his unfortunate situation of having to run after Bush. I give him credit that at times he has shown a moderate streak that is lacking in his party today and as you said, I think he understands how to get things done, whether I agree with his politics or not. As William's comment here shows, there isn't much room left for a McCain in the party today and I'd hardly call him liberal. Kudos to you for voting for him because you actually liked him rather than just because he wasn't a Democrat.

    2. Lindsey is polling about 1%. He won't be on the FOX podium. McCain benifited from a bump after naming Palin at the convention. Some believe that New York money created an artificial financial crisis just weeks before the election. McCain took the bait and closed down his campaign to consult on the "crisis."

McCain no doubt is an American hero. Lately he has been reduced to a know it all big mouth. He has been inside government to long. Go home John and enjoy your grandkids.

    4. Why was Lehman Brothers singled out when other firms before and after the "crisis" were supported?
