Hillary Clinton's Ideal Running Mate?

Here's an interesting article from the Daily Beast. Who is the ideal running mate, you may ask? Why Bill Clinton, of course. Let's take the term "dynasty" to a whole new level.

  1. Interesting concept. But what if Hilary dies in office do we have a constitutional crisis? Can Bill become president after already serving his allotted 2 terms because the president died in office. Otherwise THAT my friend is an unbeatable ticket.

  2. Wow, what an idea. If Hillary died and Bill was VP, what a mess. I guess the Supreme Court would have to decide and it would be a no win decision either way.

  3. To my knowledge, Bill isn't eligible to be on a ticket in any capacity.

Maybe Chelsea will run with Hillary so Rick ' s panties can stay nice and moist.

  4. "Marriage has got historic, religious and moral content that goes back to the beginning of time, and I think a marriage is as a marriage has always been, between a man and a woman." - Hillary Clinton

Hillary may be long in the tooth, but she ain't all crazy I guess.

  6. In keeping with the hilarity of some of the posts above, I may have the solution. If Hillary runs she could perhaps obtain revenge on Bill by nominating Monica Lewinski as her running mate. The revenge would be in giving Monica what John Adams referred to as quote” My country has in its wisdom contrived for me the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived.".

  7. Kingston, you are wicked. However, your Adams quote leads me to think that Bill wouldn't take the lowly post anyway. Problem solved. Good going.

  8. At he White House Correspondent's Dinner, Obama noted that Fox News will have a hard time convincing people that Hillary was born in Kenya.

  9. This is getting interesting. Hilary and her birth place, it could happen I guess but the big O has made a point with a bit of humor in it. I being of a more sober disposition, think back to the nineteenth amendment and what has followed from that. Before the nineteenth there was no possibility of female cabinet members,Pres or VP was also unavailable to females and for just as nonsensical reason a bloke named Alexander Hamilton was automatically barred from becoming President. There have been many since Hamilton who have also been debarred and the country is the poorer for it.
I thought of the females who have held the office of Sec State and find three names. Albright, Rice and Clinton. Looking at their contributions in a non partisan and dispassionate way I think all have brought something good to the office and all have left the office the better for their being there. I expect some caustic comments for including Clinton but history needs to be further removed before a definitive statement can be made concerning her contribution.

    Cheers from Aussie

    2. Obama was doing a comedy routine for the reporters. He also mentioned that the right wing of the Republican Party was giving John Boehner a hard time, like they had done to him for years. He surmised that tan is the new black.

  10. Condoliza Rice removed herself from performing the commencement address at Rutgers University, the state university of New Jersey. She indicated that she did not want to detract from the student celebration following a student protest sit in, and a faculty petition against her appearance.

So much for the first amendment here in the socialist republic of New Jersey.
