  1. You know, when you read the links posted by William,

    and then go to zerohedge

and then go to this link on the parable of the unforgiving servant

I don't think you can't help but see more then a little similarity. Kind of ironic, William, that you would post this literally one day before the ten year anniversary of one of the most morally bankrupt, predatory and wasteful things the United States has ever done.

    1. Of course, some lies get repeated so many times they are accepted as truth. Objectively, and this is a serious question Angie, what is it that the right wants to see happen? Hillary has stepped down. This is a serious question, does anyone on the right really think this is something they can impeach Obama over?

March 19th – You were proud parents after your daughter got the job as bank teller. But your daughter was one of four killed during a robbery. Other bank employees, who witnessed the shooting, survived. But you are shocked after learning the bank president told them to keep their traps shut. Furious, you go to the bank. As usual the president is playing golf. So you storm the office of the bank VP. He responds: ”What difference does it make?” Your last resort is the local media. They couldn’t care less. How would you feel? The same as the families of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty & Tyrone Woods. It’s been SIX MONTHS since the Benghazi attack. There are over two dozen survivors. Pardon my French, but where the hell are they? Sen. Lindsey Graham on Fox News: “They can’t come forth, they’ve been told to be quiet.” Okay, so where the hell is the media? Silly me, a Republican isn’t president. Time for our Congressmen & Senators to know we want answers! Four families, as well as all Americans, deserve the truth. P

    1. That's a false equivalency, we are not talking about a bank in the United States of America. My point William, which I think you clearly understand, is that under a Republican president, the media, which you so strongly believe is liberally biased, let this country go to war with a country we had no legitimate reason to attack, and then let the entirety of that neocon band just waltz quietly away. Now, after four lives have been lost in what is clearly a screw up of incompetence, the drum beating will not cease. Again, I ask, what outcome do you want to see? I don't want some nebulous bullshit answer that you want to know what happened, I want to know what you want to do with the information. Do you believe that this is soooooooo stunning it can be used to impeach Obama. Yes, or NO?

    2. Max, For once can we stay on subject? Bush after all had a UN resolution. What were Obama-Hillary doing in Libya?

Transparency would be the starting point Max. What does Obama and Hillary have to hide concerning Benghazi?

Why haven't the survivors been interviewed by congress?

Where was Obama on the evening of 9/11?

Why were the talking points "adjusted" leaving Susan Rice hung out to dry?

And yes Hillary, "it does matter."

Max, History will fill in the blanks eventually. Everything will come out. History is long.

    3. All I'll say is that Clinton's 'What difference does it make now' (or whatever she said) did not answer the question posed to her. Neither she nor this administration have ever admitted (based on evidence I have seen) that they LIED about the cause for the attack and deaths. And I have NEVER heard our chief Pierson's Puppeteer make ANY comment about traipsing off to Las Vegas.

And Max, that thing about what the right wants, since Clinton is no longer in office? How in the name of God does her no longer being in office do anything about this matter?

    4. What I honestly don't know Jean is why so many are so flipping outraged about it. To me, the deaths smack of hubris. It's an unstable place and it was a soft target. But, I guess, what I don't understand is the scale. I mean, here we have McCain and Lindsey going apeshit over this, while Rand Paul is pulling a filibuster over our use of drones. What Rand Paul is choosing to go after seems to have some major bearing on our foreign policy.

This, to me, is Clinton's blowjob all over again. What they spent millions of dollars attacking Clinton on turned out to be nothing, so they kept pressing until they found something they could catch him lying about. This is not Nixon's tape, this is not the secret shit Reagan did in defiance of congress. It was a tragedy of putting an Ambassador in a position where he could be killed. Meh. Same ole same ole. When in power, Republicans answer to no one. When out of power, they just keep throwing shit against the wall to see what will stick. They want power. Nothing more, nothing less.

    5. Max,

Speaking for myself, the killings of the four was a tragedy. Preventable? Probably not, short of shutting down the consulate. The outrage? Trying to make it seem as if it was spontaneous, a week after the DNC braying about about bin Laden being dead, and all the talk suggesting the administration really had AQ where they wanted them. Saving face is soooooooo much more important. And flitting off to Las Vegas the next day.

Of course, dear Hillary was not going to say anything. After all, she'll need to be riding in on the white hourse in a couple, yes?

    6. I don't know why they went with that story either, other then to save face. You are shocked an administration would do this, yes? Remember the "16 words"? Pat Tillman? This is what administrations do. Good thing patriots aren't letting it go, I have no doubt there aren't more important things to consider.

    7. Perhaps accountability from government. A rare thing today.
Maybe a few incompetents fired as they should have been at the GAO.

In your work if you did something as incompetent as the handling of Benghazi would you still be employed? Would it be covered up by your employer?

      Shouldn't government be accountable?

    9. Hey Lou,

Yes, government should be held accountable. It just continues to make me wonder why accountability is only demanded of Democratic presidents these days.

    10. The question to ask is why was no one fired?

Dem or Repub, when a person is incompetent, why in the world of government are they excused?

Why is it government employees don't pay their taxes?

The issue has nothing to do with repub or dem, whey are government employees never fired? Strong union?

    11. Lou, The dems don't fire incompetents. They retire them and bring them back three years later and run them for president.
