Kay Hagan's seat in the senate. Tea party favorite Dr Greg Brannon was thoroughly trounced by establishment Republican, Thom Tillis the speaker of the NC house in last weeks Republican primary. Tillis and Hagan will have quite a race, but the tea party is out.

Contempt of Congress

The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to hold former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress for refusing to testify about the agency’s targeting of conservative groups.
The House voted 231-187 for a resolution holding Lerner in contempt. All Republicans voted yes, along with six Democrats.

Lerner’s case will now be sent to the Justice Department, which then must decide whether to essentially prosecute Lerner in the case.

Minutes after the Lerner vote, the House passed a separate resolution asking the Department of Justice to appoint a special counsel to probe the IRS over the scandal, by a vote of 250-168.

House Speaker John Boehner issued a statement following the vote saying, "It’s time for Lois Lerner to account for her actions, and if she won’t then the full force of the law should be brought to bear."

Lerner's attorney William M. Taylor III slammed the contempt vote as a partisan exercise. "Today's vote has nothing to do with the facts or the law. Its only purpose is to keep the baseless IRS 'conspiracy' alive through the mid-term elections," he said in a statement. "Ms. Lerner has not committed contempt of Congress."   Fox News

Big Brother is Coming To Your Brokerage Account

In the midst of the financial crisis, our “leaders” had a choice. They could’ve done what most Americans wanted, which was allow failing firms to fail and permit the chips to fall where they may. In contrast, our “leaders” settled on trillion dollar bailouts with zero strings attached for the criminals who destroyed the nation’s economy. At that point, the American people would’ve been at least somewhat satisfied if the rule of law was applied to the banksters, and those who deserved to go to jail were locked up. As we all know by now, the Justice Department decided to create a special “Too Big To Jail” untouchable class, and nobody was held accountable for anything. Once again, our “leadership” could’ve look at the situation honestly and responded appropriately. Rather, they doubled down on corruption and criminality and now nobody trusts anything. We don’t trust the Presidency, the Congress, the intelligence agencies, the banks, the financial system, the courts, the Federal Reserve, or any institutions at all. We certainly don’t trust Democrats and Republicans. In fact, millennials in particular have given up all trust in everything. They don’t even trust Jay-z anymore, which I suppose is what happens when you prance around with Warren Buffett and flash illuminati signs 24/7. This is how society breaks down.

Moving along, with confidence in “the system” already in the gutter by summer 2013, Edward Snowden released a bombshell of information on illegal government spying. It confirmed what so many of us had been saying for years, but had been dismissed pejoratively by the mainstream as “conspiracy theorists.” Once again, our “leaders” had a choice. Take the difficult steps and offer real reform, or merely pretend nothing really happened and defend the practices at all costs. Once again, they chose the latter. Just as no bankers were jailed for the financial crisis, no intelligence operatives were jailed for illegal spying. In fact, nothing at all has happened toJames Clapper for perjuring himself in front of Congress.

It now appears the status quo is moving to destroy any last semblance of privacy with regard to your personal brokerage accounts. Yep, in the name of “stopping fraud” and the practices of unscrupulous brokers, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) wants to launch a program called Cards, or the Comprehensive Automated Risk Data System. This electronic system sounds a lot like the so-called metadata the NSA is collecting on everyone’s internet usage. This “robocop” would collect a weekly “record of activity at all of the more than 4,100 brokerage firms nationwide.”

For your own good of course. Oh, and yeah, to stop terrorists or something…

In December, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, which oversees how investments are sold, proposed what it calls Cards, an electronic system that would regularly collect data on balances and transactions in brokerage accounts.

If adopted, Cards would revolutionize how regulators do their jobs and could make it harder for unscrupulous brokers to bilk customers.

Give me a fucking break. The last thing the establishment cares about is stopping fraud. Fraud is the number one driver of American GDP at the moment. It is institutionalized, protected and endorsed. This is about nothing more than destroying your financial privacy.

Under Cards (which stands for Comprehensive Automated Risk Data System), Finra would collect—probably weekly—a record of activity at all of the more than 4,100 brokerage firms nationwide.

Finra would scour the data continuously, looking for any hints that a firm or a broker might be taking advantage of a client: excessive trading or commissions,switching from one mutual fund to another, overcharging for bond trades, overconcentrating in risky or illiquid securities, and so on.

The nanny brokerage state. Was this Michael Bloomberg’s idea or what? Better make sure there isn’t too much salt or sugary drinks in your portfolio.

Social Security numbers and other personal details won’t be included in Cards, so Finra won’t be able to identify which investor an account belongs to or to match any investor’s holdings across firms. Nor will the data give anyone access to cash or securities.

It’s just metadata, nothing to see here serfs!

That, Mr. Ketchum argues, would enable the regulator to stop at least some misdeeds before too much damage is done. And the sense that a regulatory RoboCop is watching their every move could deter some brokers from doing anything wrong in the first place.

“The good that will come from the dramatically increased ability to reduce fraud will way overwhelm that extraordinarily remote risk,” Mr. Joachim adds.

Mr. Ketchum says he hopes that Cards will go to the Securities and Exchange Commission for final approval by next year, after further refinements and input from brokerage firms and the public.

Report: Obama Spent $770 Million in Taxpayer Funds to Rebuild and Renovate Mosques Overseas

A CBS news investigation found that the Obama State Department is sending millions of dollars to save mosques overseas — outraging taxpayer advocates and raising enormous questions about aid to potentially terror-supporting groups with U.S. foreign aid.

Millions more dollars have been sent to places like Cyprus. The State Department displays before and after pictures of mosques refurbished with U.S. tax dollars.

“I think it is very hard to explain to the American taxpayer right now whose having an extraordinary time paying bills and making ends meet that this is why we took this out of your paycheck, so we can fund this,” said Thomas.

The State Department declined a CBS Atlanta News request for an interview. Anchor Justin Farmer wanted to ask why are we using tax dollars to refurbish religious buildings overseas. The State Department did send CBS Atlanta News an e-mail saying that they are “fighting Islamic extremism by building relationships with Islamic leaders”.

Egyptian-American human rights activist Nonie Darwish told Farmer that trying to buy respect in the Middle East only shows our weakness.

“This part of the world has a lot of respect for power and America is not showing its power, it’s showing its appeasement. They are laughing all the way to the bank,” said Darwish.

Darwish was born in Egypt and is now a former Muslim. Darwish told Farmer that she moved to America and has written several books critical of radical Islam. Darwish said that most of the mosques in Egypt are run by extremists who have ordered former Muslims like herself to be killed.

“We are rebuilding mosques to support the radicals, not to support the moderates. We are building mosques to issue fatwas of death against people like me,” said Darwish.

Your tax dollars also fund computers and mosques in places like Tajikistan and Mali. At an ancient mud brick mosque in Mali, the State Department has provided Internet service and computer equipment to local imams.

Woman Celebrates Her Cool Abortion

A counselor at a New Jersey abortion clinic celebrated her own abortion by posting it on YouTube in order to treasure her “special memory”.

Emily Letts recorded the lead up to the procedure and some of the abortion itself as part of an effort to inspire women who may feel guilty or scared about terminating their pregnancies.

Writing about the experience in a Cosmopolitan piece, Letts admits that her failure to use protection during sex was “crazy” given her role as an abortion advisor, illustrating how many women treat abortion as merely another form of birth control.

“Once I caught my breath, I knew immediately I was going to have an abortion. I knew I wasn’t ready to take care of a child. The guy wasn’t involved in my decision,” she writes.

Letts describes her role of encouraging women to terminate their pregnancies as a “perfect world that fulfills me in so many different ways”.

As the abortion procedure began, Letts wore a beaming smile and even let out a giggle as she stated, “I’m a lucky girl”. In her article she writes of how she was “feeling the love from everyone in the room” during the abortion, which she described as, “like I was giving birth”.

Letts can he heard humming during the abortion. When the procedure is over she remarks, “Cool. I feel good.”

Letts says the whole experience, “will always be a special memory for me,” adding that she kept the sonogram of the baby as a memento.

Although Letts says that upon posting her video people were, “breathtakingly supportive,” that sentiment quickly seems to be evaporating, with her YouTube video receiving over 1300 thumbs down. Comments on the video have been disabled, suggesting Letts was hit by a barrage of criticism after conservative media outlets picked up the story.

Leftist outfit Think Progress hailed Letts’ decision to make her story public, claiming that it removed some of the stigma surrounding abortion.

This story underscores the worst aspect of abortion advocates which is the fact that many of them celebrate killing babies as if it’s an ‘empowering’ and ‘positive’ procedure. Is it too much to ask for them to at the very least be somber and regretful? Letts truly deserves whatever onslaught of public condemnation is heading her way.

In March we reported on a similar example of bad taste involving the D.C. Abortion Fund (DCAF), an organization that helps poor women pay for abortions, which caused controversy by offering a ‘coat hanger’ pendant to contributors who donate $10 or more a month for women in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia to terminate their pregnancies.

In 2004, abortion advocate and author Jennifer Baumgardner launched the “I Had an Abortion” project in order to encourage women who had terminated pregnancies to embrace their decision. In a promotional stunt for the campaign, feminist Gloria Steinem wore a t-shirt which read, “I had an abortion” while adopting a smiling, celebratory pose.

Last year footage also emerged of abortion advocates chanting “Hail Satan” in unison at the Texas State Capitol building.

In February 2012, a was paper published in the Journal of Medical Ethics which argued that abortion should be extended to make the killing of newborn babies permissible.

Killing babies is obviously not good enough for abortion advocates. The whole sordid procedure has to be sanctified as some kind of joyous ceremony. Even if you support a women’s right to abortion, the process should be solemn and as dignified as possible, it shouldn’t be couched in terms such as “cool,” “lucky,” or “special”.

By characterizing abortion in this context, the left exposes the reason for its advocacy of a woman’s “right to choose” not so much as a cherished freedom but as some kind of sick bloodlust for celebrating the destruction of innocence.

World War III Has Already Been Lost

The title is bold, but it is all out in the open. By tomorrow at this time, you will know the entire story and what America will look like in the coming months. Fasten your seatbelt and make sure you store food, water and ammunition because the train has left the station and AmeriKa is headed for a head-on train wreck of epic proportions.

Last night, May 4, 2014,  I interviewed Dr. Jim Garrow, the 43 year ex-CIA veteran who is exposing many NWO plots, at least to the level that his national security oath will let him. In promoting the show, I was purposely vague because I knew where I was going to take the show, because I knew the areas that Dr. Garrow has been speaking about in other interviews. However, I was preparing to take this interview to a level not yet heard on talk radio. I was vague in my show description because I wanted the show to not be taken down by the powers that be. However, the first 10 minutes of my show we were still tampered with as Dr. Garrow, News Director Annie DeRiso and myself all experienced independent and simultaneous communications issues. Dr. Garrow and I subsequently changed our communications venues and the show proceeded.

In a two part series, I am writing a brief synopsis of the last two hours of the interview which will contain some revelations, on my part, that I did not fully cover last night. The reason that some critical issues did not get covered last night is because Dr. Garrow cannot talk about some of the issues because of his national security oath and I did not want to place him in a position of looking like he had been talking about what he is not supposed be revealing. As it was, Dr. Garrow refused to answer 5 questions I put to him last night in deference to his national security oath.

After this two part series has a chance to circulate, I will release the second and third hours of the interview late tomorrow night or on Wednesday morning.

Information Not Yet Revealed

Since early last August, I have been holding on to some information that I was told I better keep quiet unless I was able to collaborate some of the information with another well known source and this was necessary for my own personal safety. To be the sole purveyor of this information would have placed me in a greatly compromised position similar to Breitbart, Hastings and Clancy. After nine plus months, it is a relief to finally get this out into the public arena.

Much of what I am going to reveal is going to read like a jig saw puzzle. I am going to reveal a story of Chinese takeover of this country and Dr. Garrow provides complementary and novel information to the level of which he is permitted to speak.

The Bundy Affair

Cliven Bundy sits on land that is mineral rich in addition to being selected to be a Solar Energy Zone controlled by the Chinese energy company ENN. Dr. Garrow revealed that there are already Chinese soldiers on the Bundy Ranch and this information was provided to him by the Bundy’s themselves in a private dinner Dr. Garrow had with members of Bundy family.

Dr. Garrow also revealed that Bundy’s land is rich in mineral resources and the Chinese have been promised control over all of our underground and surface mineral resources. The Bundy Affair is critically important because it exposed critical elements of the turnover of this country’s wealth to the Chinese in payment for our debt to China.

Soon, China will own every important aspect of American wealth and those of us that remain alive following the coming purge will be living in a third world country. Notice what I just said here, (1) those of left alive. and (2) living in a third world country. In Part Two of this series, I will be revealing exactly how this will happen. Let me just suffice it to say that gold, all forms of energy, water and food production will become a part of the Chinese takeover as will the breakup of the Federal Reserve in a divestiture of such a magnitude, that it has never before seen in the modern world.

Chinese Solar Energy Zones

The readers may recall that I recently wrote an article in which I noted that these Chinese Solar Energy Zones were near a CANAMEX Corridor transportation system, backed up next to a major military installation and were mineral resource rich. The American military will be forced to join the Chinese takeover. The highway system is important from a military perspective in order to quickly move troops and material to needed areas of insurrection. Now does it make sense as to why there is a purge of the military leadership taking place in which over 260 senior level military officers have been fired by Obama? Does the John Warner Defense Act make sense to you now because it allows the use of US troops on American soil for policing duties which will be needed to put down any resulting rebellion? Do you think that the DHS acquiring over 2 billion rounds of ammunition to go with their 2700 armored personnel carriers makes any sense in light of this information? And I have been told that Tom Clancy had all of this information and more and this is why he was killed because he was writing a book about all of this. If you are still connecting dots, let me put this in very simply terms, there is going to be a civil war and it is going to happen soon.

Further, Dr. Garrow acknowledged the connections between these Chinese Solar Energy Zones and land rich in mineral resources. I have also previously written an article in which I identified how the United States has hundreds of trillions of dollars of estimated buried resource wealth beneath the surface and our government refuses to touch it. Our government refuses to access these underground treasures because they have been promised to the Chinese in repayment of the debt owed to their country.

The Crisis in Ukraine

Putin has Eastern Europe knuckling under to his will. Both Dr. Garrow and I agree that this will cause the breakup of NATO and Putin’s military will run unopposed through Europe. I asked Dr. Garrow about the window we are in with regard to NATO consolidating forces necessary to oppose a Russian invasion, through a series of war games, in Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Poland this coming June/July. If Putin is going to control Ukraine, which accounts for 66% of Russian gas flowing into Europe, he cannot allow NATO to consolidate its forces and oppose his takeover plans of Ukraine. Dr. Garrow did comment on this point, however, I have multiple insider sources stating that this is an accurate assessment. I have been told that there is a window of about 4-5 weeks until Russia attacks Ukraine. If Putin misses this window, he will have to be content to continue to erode the Petrodollar because NATO will be significantly entrenched enough to easily roll over Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Putin is bold and impulsive and the slow approach of eroding the Petrodollar does not fit his personality. Putin will attack Ukraine.

Obama Could Have Saved Europe From Russia

Dr. Garrow revealed that Obama has both the ability and authority to order the capture the 30% bleed off and to liquefy the natural gas and ship it Eastern Europe and undercut the Russian price on natural gas. This would have halted Putin in his tracks. This would have been similar to what Truman did to keep Berlin open in 1947 when the Russians shut down outside access to Berlin and Truman initiated the Berlin Airlift. However, being the traitor that Obama is, he refused to act to save Eastern Europe. As a result, both Dr. Garrow and my insider sources believe that it is just a matter of time until all of Europe is subservient to Putin’s re-emergence of the Soviet Empire. This speaks to the fact that we do indeed have a traitor in the Oval Office. Europe will soon fall to Russia and America will fall to China. This is the real New World Order!

The Federal Reserve

America is being carved up like a Thanksgiving turkey and one has to wonder where is the Federal Reserve in all of this? Since they have owned this country since 1913, shouldn’t we be hearing about their role in all of this? Isn’t it interesting that Harry Reid, according to Dr. Garrow, is facilitating all of these Chinese Solar Energy Zones and not the Federal Reserve. What is going here would be like you having a garage sale, but the Chinese are in your house and your backyard and they are the ones determining what you will be selling in your driveway. Yes, that’s right, the Federal Reserve is dead as we know it and Part Two will reveal the relevant details.

Conclusion

To sum up, Part One details how the Chinese are on the verge of controlling all American energy and meaningful resources including our military. Russia will soon be controlling Europe and both Chinese and Russian forces will be imposing their will on the American people in the coming months.

General beefs about the growing inequality in this country

Well, this is an attempt to start a thoughtful discussion about inequality that is likely going to end in nothing but a partisan pissing match with use of the words socialist, communist or some other stupid "ist" and complete avoidance of the point I will try to make. We'll probably get some trickle down bullshit thrown in there for good measure. My biggest beef I suppose is that we have created a massive inequality. It didn't just happen because a select few are so much smarter than everyone else, rather, we have used tax policy, deregulation, bad trade policy, and massive devaluing of the dollar to bequeath upon a very few a wealth that I do not believe they deserve. Moreover, we have simultaneously yanked up many ladders that previously could be used by those willing to work hard to climb. The fact that a loudmouth like myself could earn north of 100K at one point in my working career with nothing more than a GED is a strong testament to what was once a functioning society that allowed people to screw up, start over, and get moving forward. If you don't graduate high school today let alone, heaven forbid, get arrested for something like possession or selling a small amount of drugs, you are simply screwed. Again, I believe we have CHOSEN to create the disaster we have now. Part of the problem is a simple matter of supply and demand as Lou alluded to another page. But the other part of it is that we have created a situation where competition is primarily what little people do, while the few are allowed to coast along. Undoubtedly, the wealthy pay the majority of taxes, this is simple math because, DING, they make the most money. What helps grow their wealth, however, is a lot of direct and indirect contributions from the rest of us that, IMO, is simply a government sanctioned shake down. Here is part of my belief of the mechanics of it.

The FED- shouldn't be much disagreement here. Endlessly low rates allow business access to very cheap capital. Savers and those who buy fixed income for lower risk have flat out been screwed. yeah, higher rates mean higher inflation and higher costs paid by those on fixed income, but it also means business needs to pay more for its labor. Low inflation (a lie to begin with) has been used to deny COLA raises and the perpetually weak dollar has hurt those fixed income as well. As for the rest of us who work hourly, like myself, yearly raises, outside of union shops, are less than the already bullshit low stated rate of inflation. Stocks, of course, are doing well, which is another sweet treat for those with assets supported by those of us with fewer. Yeah, my 401k NOW is doing well, but will look less sweet years from now when we finally become adults and raise taxes. Lastly, through cheap rates and lack of supervision, the banks have been given a license to steal and steal they have while creating an enormous pool of unsecured risk that WILL blow up again. Whether we bail them out again or not, we will all pay dearly for it one way or the other while those who caused the damage will walk away with literally billions

Taxes- Under Reagan, we played the game of reduce the rate and take away deductions and then added them all back. What I see since 1980 is that when taxes go down, wealth at the very top climbs and shrinks in the middle. Some will undoubtedly believe these are not related. Taxes for money earned through investment is taxed less that money that is earned through labor. This is bullshit. Income is income and millionaires who flip stocks in a manipulated market kept aloft by the fed (see above) should have to pay taxes the same way that I do. Again, they pay more, because they earn more and then they pay less because they can take advantage of tax scams. As for our corporations, many love to wail about how we have the highest corporate tax rate in the world while they know full well that our coporations simply do not pay that rate. Through tax arbitrage, companies are allowed to stockpile and hide cash that, thanks to a growing ratio of CEO to avg worker pay, is then siphoned off by top management and BOD's through a host of manipulations that are nothing more than tax dodges on money earned. I'll admit, my health care plan is a tax dodge as is my ability to park money temporarily in a 401K. At best, however, I am dodging a couple grand in tax while others are literally dodging millions simply because they can run better scams.

Education- ours sucks and it's getting worse. This is a multifaceted issue that the left must take some ownership of. Still, education currently is just about the only way to gain upward mobility and access to good education is getting harder and harder for everyone not rich, let alone the very poor who, thanks to roll backs in affirmative action, will find it even harder. Will legacy admissions for children of rich parents be taken away? not likely. Not much meritocracy there. In some ways, I was very lucky to have NOT gone to college after getting my GED because I was much more mature when I finally went and got very good grades that paid dividends later when I applied for nursing school. I am a white guy, who is decent looking and I have never once been discriminated over for someone of color. On the other hand, I could count several times where I believe the reverse was true for me. The failure starts early in school, and children from poor families do worse, and in response, we are cutting head start programs. This seems ridiculous. If we really wanted people to not sit on their ass, why are we de-incentivizing them to work hard?

Speaking of that, wages- Unions have been their best and worst advocates. I never liked working union shop, but collective bargaining by labor at large corporations helped set the cost of labor elsewhere. It would be awesome if, as an RN, I could be paid based on something other than a commoditized view of labor, but I can't. I'm not getting overly squeezed, but the same cannot be said for those who used to have something useful to do. Again, it's a matter of degree of what is fair. Is it good for the majority to lose jobs to third world countries while those who hold capital are becoming engorged largely by arbitraging the cost of labor in addition to paying less for labor despite increased productivity? I dont' think so.
