As a liberal who does not desire to own a firearm, I am not in favor of much beyond a database. I realize, this alone is enough to have the gun toters lose their minds and explode with diatribes of slippery slopes. Your point TD, should not be dismissed. The power grab Republicans took in the name of safety after 9/11 has not been undone in any way and as Rand Paul illustriously made clear recently, the power grab has expanded under Obama and will continue to expand no matter who is president.

yes indeed, there is confusion because too many people prefer to simply swallow what is fed to them. There are plenty of people left of center who want nothing to do with a far left, communist agenda.
