Gun Control Cartoons

This is the biggest collection of illogical thought processes you will see anywhere and a prime example of an attempt to brainwash Americans. Look at the stereo types they portray. http://www.usnews.com/cartoons/gun-control-and-gun-rights-cartoons?s_cid=art_btm

What's going on in Mexico

If the media actually showed what was going on there, American's would be scared to death. There would be immediate demands to lock down the border. Instead, Narcos are flooding our country and setting up in every major city. Then their money and bribes will corrupt local officials and there will be bloody street wars just like in Mexico. The brutality is amazing. They eagerly cut the heads off their living victims. If American's knew, they would arm themselves to the teeth. You local police won't protect you just like they don't protect Mexican citizens. You did know that all of most of these murders in Chicago involve Mexican gangs fighting for territory? Meanwhile, Obama has left the border WIDE OPEN.

Who was Thomas Jefferson?

Who was
Thomas Jefferson ?

Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in life and never stopped.

At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first president.

At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams.

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."
"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe ."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
-- Thomas Jefferson

"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
-- Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

I wish we could get this out to everyone!
I'm doing my part. Please do yours.

Missouri Senators Cite Gun, U.N. Conspiracy Theories In Voting To Defund Driver’s License Bureau

Missouri Senators Cite Gun, U.N. Conspiracy Theories In Voting To Defund Driver’s License Bureau

In retribution against a Missouri agency’s record-keeping of concealed carry gun permits, the state Senate voted Monday to eliminate all funding for the Department of Revenue’s driver’s license bureau and slashed funding for several other agencies. If the measure became law, it would halt the issuance of driver’s licenses in the state, and would hobble the core functioning of several other agencies that senators believe played a role in collecting gun permit information to combat fraud. Raw Story explains:
Republican lawmakers in Missouri became alarmed at a recent hearing at a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing when Revenue Department Director Brian Long refused to agree to stop scanning and retaining concealed carry data. Long said that the records helped to prevent fraud.
Long resigned from his post as director earlier this month.
The 2005 federal Real ID Act requires states to retain a database of scanned documents for verifying identity. Missouri appeared to be the only state where the license bureau was charged with printing concealed carry permits, either on driver’s licenses or as a separate document. Lawmakers gave the licensing bureau control over concealed carry permits in 2003 to help law enforcement identify people who were [sic] weapons.
But lawmakers have recently become increasingly concerned that gun records would be shared with federal officials to create a gun registry that could lead to confiscations.
Melissa Wilson, wife of state Rep. Kenneth Wilson (R), told the committee earlier this month that she was certain that gun records had been shared with the federal government as a part of a United Nations initiative called Agenda 21, which some conservatives believe is a conspiracy to “transform America from the land of the free, to the land of the collective” through “a mind-control” tactic called the Delphi technique.
A 2009 Missouri law prohibits state officials from implementing the federal Real ID Act, and a state House panel this week approved legislation that made it illegal to share information about concealed carry permits.
Lawmakers may have some reason to be concerned about the privacy of Missouri’s record-keeping generally. Gov. Jay Nixon (D) recently ordered an end to electronic copies of concealed carry permits, after a list was sent to a fraud investigator at the Social Security Administration (who did not use the list). But concerns that the record-keeping will lead to gun confiscation or play a role in a United Nations conspiracy theory are completely unfounded. Federal gun registries are already illegal, and nothing in Obama’s executive orders nor the defeated congressional proposals would come close to widespread confiscation, which would be aSecond Amendment violation. The theory that some claim will “transform America” — Agenda 21 — is nothing more than a series of non-binding recommendations about how to better use natural resources in promoting development. But that has not stopped some from alleging that Obama is using a mind-control technique known as “Delphi” to garner support for the U.N. plan. A concern more grounded in reality is how the state will protect public safety if it abolishes its drivers’ license system.

CALIF. BILL WOULD LET NON-CITIZENS SERVE ON JURIES

SACRAMENTO, California (AP) -- The California Assembly passed a bill on Thursday that would make the state the first in the nation to allow non-citizens who are in the country legally to serve on jury duty.
Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, D-Fremont, said his bill, AB1401, would help California widen the pool of prospective jurors and help integrate immigrants into the community.
It does not change other criteria for being eligible to serve on a jury, such as being at least 18, living in the county that is making the summons, and being proficient in English.
The bill passed 45-25 largely on a party-line vote in the Democratic-controlled Assembly and will move on to the Senate. One Democrat - Assemblyman Adam Gray, of Merced - voted no, while some other Democrats did not vote.
Democratic lawmakers who voted for the bill said there is no correlation between being a citizen and a juror, and they noted that there is no citizenship requirement to be an attorney or a judge. Republican lawmakers who opposed Wieckowski's bill called it misguided and premature.
Assemblywoman Diane Harkey, R-Dana Point, said there is no shortage of jurors.
"Jury selection is not the problem. The problem is trial court funding," Harkey said before the vote. "I hope we can focus on that. Let's not break something; it's not broken now. Let's not whittle away at what is reserved for U.S. citizens. There's a reason for it."
Wieckowski's office said the bill is the first of its kind in the nation and suggested that courts regularly struggle to find enough prospective jurors because jury duty is often seen as an inconvenience, if not a burden. His office did not cite any statistics but pointed to a 2003 legislative report that said numerous articles have noted high rates of non-participation.
A 2007 survey by the Center for Jury Studies said 20 percent of courts across the country reported a failure to respond or failure to appear rate of 15 percent or higher. The center is run by the National Center for State Courts, a Virginia-based nonprofit dedicated to improving court systems.
It's not clear, however, if that rate translates to a shortage of jurors in California.
Noting that women were once kept off juries, Assembly Speaker John Perez, D-Los Angeles, said the judicial system should be changed to allow a person to be judged by their peers.
"This isn't about affording someone who would come in as a juror something," Perez said. "But rather understanding that the importance of the jury selection process of affording justice to the person in that courtroom."
An estimated 10 million Californians are summoned for jury duty each year and about 4 million are eligible and available to serve, according to the Judicial Council, which administers the state's court system. About 3.2 million complete the service, meaning they waited in a courthouse assembly room or were placed on call.
In 2010-2011, the most recent year available, only about 165,000 people were sworn in as jurors.
The judicial branch has not taken a position on AB 1401.

Richie Havens, Born: January 21, 1941, Died: April 22, 2013

Well, another of the performers at Max's farm has died. Were it not for seeing the Woodstock movie when I was really young, I quite possibly might not have ever come across Richie. Though I always like his version of Motherless Child which eventually became more know as "Freedom", I think my favorite song of his will always be his cover of "What About Me". Here is one link to a pretty decent version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jm-G_2lpb8  My second favorite is Follow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjefIsixrfU

A few years back he did a real small show in Chicago at the Old Town School of Folk music and I didn't hear about it until after the fact. I never saw him play live, but of my favorite performers, he is in the very small number who grab me with their passion when I listen to them play. I don't think he was the wordsmith that Dylan was by any stretch, but I think he could take just about any song and make you FEEL it rather then hear it.

I think it is probably fitting that he died on Earth day. Farewell Richie.

Trial begins for officials accused in Obama, Clinton ballot petition fraud .

The trial is underway for a former Democratic official and a Board of Elections worker who are accused of being part of a plot that has raised questions over whether President Obama's campaign -- when he was a candidate in 2008 -- submitted enough legitimate signatures to have legally qualified for the presidential primary ballot.
The two face charges of orchestrating an illegal scheme to fake the petitions that enabled then-candidates Obama, and Hillary Clinton, to qualify for the race in Indiana.
Former longtime St. Joseph County Democratic Party Chairman Butch Morgan Jr. faces multiple felony conspiracy counts to commit petition fraud, and former county Board of Elections worker Dustin Blythe is charged with nine felony forgery counts and one felony count of falsely making a petition of nomination. The proceedings began Monday in South Bend.

Twinsdads comment.... Really?  Fraud in Chicago?  Stunned, stunned....

Dozens of LI school districts use software to ‘rig’ elections

Dozens of LI school districts use software to ‘rig’ elections

  • Last Updated: 3:57 AM, April 21, 2013

Taxpayers in dozens of Long Island school districts have been footing the bill for a computer system that can help rig elections to pass school budgets.
Bold Systems LLC, based in Bellport, LI, sells software that lets school districts track votes in real time on Election Day and identify which parents, district employees and 18-year-old students have not yet voted. The districts, it says, can then generate “call lists” to urge those voters — who are most likely to support a budget increase — to get to the polls.
But under state law, this is illegal “electioneering.”
‘FIXED’: Bold Systems LLC touts its software’s ability to swing an election, which dozens of Long Island school districts have bought into.
‘FIXED’: Bold Systems LLC touts its software’s ability to swing an election, which dozens of Long Island school districts have bought into.
School districts can’t spend money to steer an election. They can urge citizens to vote, but are forbidden to call “a selective list” of cherry-picked voters.
School districts upstate and in Long Island hold yearly elections — the next set for May 21 — in which voters approve or reject proposed budgets.
Districts need more than 50 percent yes votes to pass a budget, or 60 percent if the budget exceeds a state tax-levy cap.
In most districts, elections can be close, with retirees on fixed incomes and homeowners without kids in school more likely to vote down big budget hikes.
Yet many of those budgets have passed in the past few years — including increases of about 7 percent in Sayville and West Islip.
“Nothing empowers you to get out the YES votes you need like the EMS Election Management System from Bold Systems,” the company claims on its Web site.
“If your budget votes are too close to call, EMS can provide the edge you need.”
The company says 110 New York school districts use its software.
The basic system simply computerizes the voter rolls. But the upgrades Bold has sold since 2006 “enable you to compile lists of parents, in-district staff and eligible students.”
Lists can even be segmented into key groups (such as PTA members, families with kids in athletics, or by school) to help get out the votes or conduct registration drives.
Robert Vomastek, Bold Systems’ inventor and former owner, explained: “As each voter signs in, their name is automatically removed from the call list. They can run the call list four or five times during an election.”
Asked why districts would target parents and staff, Vomastek said, “They want a higher turnout from that demographic, obviously.”
A parent who blew the whistle on the system is appalled.
“You don’t need a Ph.D. in political science to understand that this service is an unethical manipulation of the electoral process,” said Noel Feustel, a dad in the Bayport-Blue Point school district.
Through a Freedom of Information Act request, Feustel learned that 35 school districts in eastern Suffolk County have each paid up to $22,700 a year, depending on the number of registered voters, for Bold Systems — and 12 pay $2,600 extra for an upgraded version and add-on features that include categorizing voters.
The districts buy Bold at prices negotiated by Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). Goods and services bought through BOCES are partly reimbursed with state taxpayer funds.
A day after The Post called Gary Bixhorn, chief operating officer of Eastern Suffolk BOCES, he ordered Bold to yank its Web site.
Bixhorn also said he would “disable” Bold features that track selected voters because they can be used “in a manner that violates the spirit and letter of the law.”
Several Suffolk district superintendents said they never used the software for prohibited purposes, just to tally votes.
Yet Nassau BOCES, which covers 56 school districts, touts Bold on its Web site, saying “a variety of useful reports can be generated on Election Day, such as up-to-the-minute reporting of who has voted, call lists of parents and staff who have not yet turned out to vote . . . and poll lists on the spot for poll watchers.”
Thomas Rogers, district superintendent of Nassau BOCES, told The Post he will also disable such features.
“These actions are long overdue,” said Bill Milligan, a Bayport-Blue Point school-board trustee. “I was stunned by the vendor’s marketing tactics and by BOCES’ failure to fully vet the product.”

Is food political? I contend it is the most leveraged item on the planet

Food supplies, critical to every nation, every country and every leader of every country.  Here in America we manipulate food at every level.  We tax it. We use it to buy votes, and to enslave a voting population and it often determines the outcome of the main election every four years, if not all the elections since the 1770's.  The current administration has used food bribe folks, for votes.

Food also needs to be recognized as the key to healthcare, both good and bad.  The current American diet is the root cause of enumerable laws, including Obamacare.  What if we were to demand change(s) in the items we ate in order to live longer and have lower health costs.  Smoking is a choice, eating is not.  However, can the EPA alone control our health, can a draconian healthcare law, can we decide to change our habits on our own, or do we need the government to do it for us?

Carol used to post a recipe now and then on American Politics, and it may time to try that here.  One recipe I like is cheap and healthy.  There are five main ingredients, corn, peas, tomatoes, black beans and kidney beans, all low sodium and all around a dollar a can, cooked in chopped garlic and basil.

I get six meals out of the mix, simmered for 20 minutes in a large skillet, cost, a buck a meal.  So all of know we should eat right, does the government have the right to force us to?  From what I see the time may have come to do so.  We control or try to what are kids eat in school lunch rooms, via legislation, what about at the macro level' the adults.  What should we model the diet after  the "Mediterranean" diet perhaps?  Clearly the "southern" diet is a killer..  Japanese diet, Indian, French (probably not).

Would we have needed Obamacare if we had keep to the diet were raised on ( I'm sixty, grew up on simple meals, no fast food) just think about when the changes came about, think TV adds, McDonalds, fast food, heck there are fast found chains popping up now that claim to be "healthy" but.... Will it get down to legislation, I say that slope is more than slippery, it's ice.

Please reply to this and tell me if you want a new blog I could start dealing only with food and the politics of food, just look at the Middle East and Africa and now Europe!

8th grader suspended, arrested for wearing NRA shirt

Another fine product of our public school system, I suppose. On Thursday, there was a bit of a dust-up at Logan Middle School in Logan, West Virginia, which was probably overshadowed by all the other news taking place. 14 year old Jared Marcum went to school that day as usual, but thingsquickly took a turn for the worse.
When 8th grade Jared Marcum got dressed for school on Thursday he says he had no idea that his pro-Second Amendment shirt would initiate what he calls a fight over his First Amendment rights.
“I never thought it would go this far because honestly I don’t see a problem with this, there shouldn’t be a problem with this,” Jared said.
It was the image of a gun printed on Jared’s t-shirt that sparked a dispute between a Logan Middle School teacher and Jared, that ended with Jared suspended, arrested and facing two charges, obstruction and disturbing the education process, on his otherwise spotless record.
Let’s take a look at the horrible, offensive shirt which caused such a disruption.
NRAtshirt
It’s a rifle and an NRA logo. As the article goes on to point out, school dress code policy has restrictions on clothing with images of violence, racism and the usual list of prohibitions, but there is nothing about images of guns. His father, Allen Lardieri, had to leave work to rush over and pick his son up and is now trying to figure out how a kid with a perfectly clean record is suddenly facing criminal charges over a shirt. Meanwhile, after three days passed, the school still has nothing to say.
From the moment 13 News first broke this story on 13 News at 11 on Thursday, emails, Facebook posts and phone calls from people all across the country have been pouring in. Despite all of the attention, Jared Marcum and his family say they’re no closer to a resolution than they were when it all began…
Lardieri says his questions for the school district remain unanswered.
“I’m still confused, thoroughly confused,” he said. “They school didn’t even make a statement to the news agencies, much less myself.”
After several attempts the only comment 13 News received from the Logan County School District was no comment.
“They gave me no paperwork, all they said to my mother was not to bring me back to school the next day,” Jared said.
I wouldn’t be terribly shocked to see this story if it were taking place in New York, Connecticut or San Francisco, but this is all unfolding in West Virginia. Something has gone pretty seriously off the beam here, and it looks like the problem is coming from their school district. Obviously, gun control and Second Amendment rights are an important and current topic in the country and if schools aren’t going to foster an environment where students can learn about both sides of a constitutional question, what sort of education are they receiving?
The family plans to work with their attorney to get the criminal charges dismissed and off the boy’s record and then may pursue a civil suit against the school if appropriate. Of course, it would be nice if the school could at least say something to let the parents know what’s going on rather than going in to radio silence.

SAUDI REPORT: MICHELLE O VISITED 'PERSON OF INTEREST'

Praise and thanks the Boston Police Dept.

This is great relief for the entire east coast.  The job and the execution by the law enforcement personnel will be studied for decades.

The war on terror will go on, but each time they strike we will strike back and the more we learn about shadow organizations the better equipped to fight this war.

God bless the survivors of the Boston attacks and may we learn enough to prevent future events so our children will be safe.

clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

 Now Just Imagine if
 Our own *
GOVERNMENT*
Gave 'US' the same support they give to foreign countries.

Sad, isn't it?

Rubio is toast, President is out of his reach.

Everyone sees the new immigration plan as the next ObamaCare and Rubio is all for it. Not to mention Rubio's disastrous response to the State of the Union. Everyone knows Obama has gutted border enforcement and that the Dems would do the same thing in the future. Plus the Dems will bait and switch just like the did with the gun bill. I don't know about you, but I wrote both of my Congressmen recently when I saw them wavering about protecting our rights. I'm tired of Obama's fake crocodile tears,or tear. Not even a tear, he just kinda of wipes away an eye booger or something.

Gosnell Staffer: Newborn Was Tossed in Shoe Box, Still Breathing

When the Bruins took to the ice, some 17,500 fans gave them a standing ovation inside the TD Garden. Everyone wore a "Boston Strong" symbol.

"It was pretty emotional. In a way, it makes you feel proud of the city and of our fans and the solidarity that was shown throughout this whole thing," Bruins coach Claude Julien told ESPN. "I'm proud of this city for how it responded tonight."
The arena was silent as the "Boston Strong" video was played, accompanied by a montage of some of the images from the marathon.
It concluded with the message: "We are Boston. We are Strong. Boston Strong."

Listen to this!  This is how I feel, NOT how the LEFT feels.

John Kerry On Benghazi: "We Got A Lot More Important Things To Move On To"

REP. DANA ROHRABACHER (R-CA): Mr. Secretary, we think that there was a coverup of some kind of wrongdoing that led this administration to lie to the American people about the nature of the attack immediately after the attack and for a week after that attack. We need to have these questions answered. We need to talk to the people who are on the scene. Can you give us a commitment now that for this administration you will be coming up with the request, the honest request of this investigative committee as to who was evacuated and how to talk to them so we can get a straight answer and an understanding of what happened in Benghazi?

SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY: Well, before I became Secretary, Congressman, I believe I got the answers to who was evacuated and had a pretty good sense of what happened there. But now that I am the Secretary and I am responsible to you and the Congress, I can promise you that if you're not getting something that you have evidence of or you think you ought to be getting, we'll work with you. And I will appoint somebody to work directly with you starting tomorrow, with you, Mr. Chairman, to have a review of anything you don't think you've gotten that you're supposed to get. Let's get this done with, folks.

ROHRABACHER: Thanks.

KERRY: Let's figure out what it is that's missing, if it's legitimate or if it isn't. I don't think anybody lied to anybody. And let's find out exactly, together, what happened, because we need -- we got a lot more important things to move on to and get done. (House Foreign Affairs Committee, April 17, 2013)

Rational discussions and the relationship the Internet has done to foster communication

"Rational discussion"?  Rational discussions would be a balanced budget amendment, rational would be bills with one subject, rational would be having a press core that isn't one sided, rational would be us having a beer together lamenting the demise of our country, the failure of well intended programs like food stamps, no longer a stop gap but a planned life style.  Rational would be having a leader that would act like the populace, not a rich asshole that throws parties and thinks he's better than the rest of us.  You can tell it by the tone of his voice, he's stuck up, unable to relate to the common man or woman and unable to lead by example.

Somehow those in need need to have "accountable" access to help, the illegals need to become legal, the climate has to be set aside until we have a balanced budget, we can throw away money when we have an access in the kitty, not continue to choke off the coal industry while we flush millions down the drain studying fish.

I'm not so unreasonable, however I was brought up in the military, Air Force brat, met Generals that fought and flew in WWII, my ancestors fled England in 1634, I've been fighting for real freedoms all my life, as it's in my blood.  However, if you strike I strike back, if you cheat me I will call you out and if you harm my family (Americans) I claim the right to hurt you back.  I'm charitable, even as I suffer the worst financial moments of my life.  Clearly you are no commie, however I ponder how you can not question some of the paths the current administration is taking, no budget, ever, no accountability for 700 billion in stimulus that failed well beyond any judgement of you or me.  The attack on guns instead of a focus on mental illness, the abandonment of the inner city to gangs of youths killing for sport.  The lies about Detroit, a failed city, whose fault, the pensions of the employees.. Check into it sometime, Chicago, drugs 500 kids killed every year to keep the gang life going, where is the backbone to stand and be counted instead of cower.

There is no "party" that can solve the problem of the dying morality that the MSM won't speak of anymore, we need to rid ourselves of the private control of our politicians and have all elections funded by public funds only, take the fat cats out of the game.

Finally, there is "rational" discussion taking place here.  There is no moderation, we are free to say anything we want here, recently I've taken to not posting links, just blogging.  There is no sense in cut and paste, it robs me of my clearly stated message, it's clear that putting up fact after fact won't change even one vote, much less the millions of votes that are bought by the corrupt that wind up in power.

However, we only live about six hours apart and someday we will toast our lives in person, but until that day and until you have taken your last breath don't stop being Max, keep communicating, keep us in your thoughts and always remember that the freedom of speech is the main thing that counts, even when the speech is not what you or I want it to be.

OBAMA’S PLAN HATCHED AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY

OBAMA’S PLAN HATCHED AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY

Obama’s plan hatched at Columbia University

President Obama and I were college classmate at Columbia University, class of ’83.  I know all too well how mindlessly liberal the students and faculty of that institution can be, and Barack Obama is certainly no exception. My time at Columbia made it crystal clear: liberals always believe they are morally superior. While they publicly state that their mission is to save the world from prejudice, patriotism, racism, greed, and inequality, they are, in fact, hostile and resentful towards anyone who has achieved self-made success through American values.  It is in this cesspool of intolerance that Obama and his Marxist cronies hatched a secret plan to destroy our country. They openly hated America- calling it racist. They hated capitalism- and vowed to bring “the system down.”  (Fast-forward thirty years, and they may finally be close to succeeding – if we don’t act soon – but more on that in a minute.)
There are two things you need to know about Obama at Columbia University. First,  he was Pre Law and a Political Science major- just like me. I thought I knew everyone studying Political Science during my four years at Columbia. Not Obama. I never met him, never saw him, never even heard of him. Strange. Same major, same career path, and graduated on the same day– where was he? Was he busy attending communist party meetings? No need to guess. In his autobiography he proudly admits attending Socialist Party meetings at Cooper Union in downtown Manhattan.  He also admits publicly in his own book to not wanting to meet anyone at Columbia who wasn’t black, Hispanic, gay, or a Marxist professor. His words. So it’s possible he was so busy attending communist meetings and trying to avoid guys like me (white, straight, loved America) that our paths never crossed. Unlikely, but possible.
But, it’s the second thing you really need to know about Obama at Columbia. He says he graduated Class of ’83. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. Well then Obama had to attend the same Political Science classes as me and I can tell you, almost to a man, my classmates in the Class of ’83 proudly called themselves Marxist, communist or socialist. They bragged of being radical like a badge of honor.
In my class the typical Columbia political science student vowed to destroy capitalism, bankrupt business owners, and vaporize what they called “the white power structure.” For the most part these were spoiled brat white students of privilege and power. They were children of wealth, given everything on a silver platter and all they felt was anger and guilt. Their goal was to destroy their own fathers. They talked about it all day long.
So let me tell you a story.  Back in 1981 I was sitting in a political science class. The president at the time was Ronald Reagan, a man reviled by the left just as viciously as any Republican is today. Suddenly our lecture was interrupted by a door swinging open violently—whereupon a breathless fellow student raced into the room screaming, “The president has been shot! They’ve just assassinated President Reagan.”
Ronald Reagan was my hero. The news hit me like a ton of bricks. I instantly felt sick to my stomach, and tears flowed down my cheeks. But it was the response of the rest of the class that I will remember for the rest of my life. They cheered. They clapped, they yelled, they high-fived, and whooped in sheer unadulterated joy. My fellow classmates, the ones I was naively trying so hard to befriend despite their radical leftist views, were HAPPY that my hero President Ronald Reagan was dead (or so they thought). They were celebrating what they thought was the assassination of America’s president.
Incidentally, if Obama actually went to Columbia, he’d almost certainly have to have been in that class leading the cheers. Feel like you need a shower yet? Lest you think I’m exaggerating, British leftists just celebrated and cheered upon hearing of the death of Margaret Thatcher only days ago.
But wait, the most frightening and eye-opening is still to come. You see political science students at Columbia were taught a detailed plan designed by two former Columbia professors named Cloward & Piven to bring down “the system,” destroy capitalism, and turn America into a socialist state. We discussed it in class, wrote about it, and debated it outside class. It was our #1 topic for four years.
The plan was revolting, but brilliant. Cloward & Piven taught that America could only be destroyed from within. Only by overwhelming the system with debt, welfare, and entitlements could capitalism and the America economy be destroyed. So the plan was to make a majority of Americans dependent on welfare, food stamps, disability, unemployment, and entitlements of all kinds. Then, under the weight of the debt, the system would implode and the economy collapse, bankrupting business owners (i.e. conservative donors). Americans would be brought to their knees, begging for big government to save them. Voila – you’d have a new system- socialism!
Sound familiar?
Lo and behold, one of my classmates was elected as President and it’s clear as a bell that he is using that plan to destroy America, capitalism, and the U.S. economy right in front of our eyes. It’s the exact plan hatched at Columbia University in our college days. Exact in every way.
Under Obama, 660,000 Americans dropped off the job rolls…just last month. 90 million working-age, able-bodied Americans are no longer in the workforce. 90 million. The workforce participation rate is the lowest since 1979. For men it’s the lowest since 1948 (when record keeping began).
Almost 50 million Americans are on food stamps (20% of all eligible adults). 14 million are on disability. Millions more are on welfare, unemployment, housing allowances, aid to dependent children, or 100 other free government programs. Now, add in free healthcare plus 22 million government employees. Record-setting numbers of Americans are emptying their retirement accounts to survive. Student loan debt is a national disaster- with defaults up 36% from a year ago. 16.4 million Americans live in poverty…in the suburbs. Every day under Obama the private sector shrinks, while the government grows like a toxic malignant tumor.
Obama promised to cut the deficit in half; instead he gave us five consecutive trillion dollar deficits. He promised to spend responsibly; instead he became the biggest spender in world history. He called Bush’s $4 trillion in debt over 8 years reckless, then proceed to pile on $6 trillion in only 4 years. He swore to be on the side of small business, but he added 6,118 new rules, regulations and mandates in just the last 90 days. He claimed taxes are low, yet he just raised taxes to the same level as bankrupt EU countries like Greece, Spain, Italy and France. Our federal income taxes are now far higher than former Soviet Republics.
Folks, this is Cloward & Piven. This is Karl Marx, who despised the middle class and vowed to wipe it out. This is Saul Alinsky (Obama’s mentor) who dedicated his book (Obama’s favorite book) to Lucifer, the devil.
This is no accident, or the work of an economically inept liberal. This is a purposeful plan to drown the nation in debt and hook a majority to government handouts, happening in front of our eyes. It’s crystal clear Obama’s plan was hatched in our college days, at Columbia, Class of ’83.
While I never met Obama at Columbia, I can certainly put him at the scene of the crime. He either went to Columbia, or he didn’t. If he didn’t, he’s a fraud. If he did, he knew the Cloward & Piven plan like the back of his hand. He studied it and his goal- like almost all my classmates- was to use it to bring down the U.S. economy and destroy capitalism to create what they consider to be “equality, fairness and social justice.”
Why would anyone want to purposely collapse the economy you might ask? Saul Alinsky taught the ends justify the means. A bankrupt America wipes out the middle class and small business. That wipes out the majority of donors to conservatives causes- meaning Obama has no opposition. It creates “equality”- by putting everyone on equal footing (shared misery). It causes panic- and in panic, voters often make hasty decisions- like choosing big government to save them.
The destruction and devastation we see happening right now is classic Cloward & Piven. It’s the plan we learned, studied, and discussed day and night at Columbia. This is no coincidence. This is the Marxist attack from within. This is a purposeful attempt to take down the economy, collapse the middle class, wipe out small business, bankrupt the wealthy (conservative donors), and addict the country to big government Nanny State socialism.
And it’s working. Obama has been working on his plan for 30 years (our 30th Columbia class reunion is next month). Now it is time for us to get to work. As I explain in my brand new book, “The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide,”  all success, all progress, all the miracles in this world are based on heart, on spirit, on will and on the power of being relentless. We are all going to need to muster the power of relentless to defeat Obama and his socialist game plan. We’re going to need to overcome the damage Obama has done to our economy…and our children’s future. It’s time for battle. Go create your own Booming Personal Economy. Go protect your family. Go take back this country. Your mission is to survive, thrive, and prosper despite Obama.

Buy!! A gun, you're going to need it.

Buy has been the shout from the left since Obama bought the last election.  But wait, sell seems to be creeping into the mix.  The healthcare law has proven to be such an albatross that even Pelosi and Biden are beginning to wish they had read the bill before they voted on it.  Oh and guns... What a mess the Dems are making of that!

The markets for metals are crashing, we've been attacked on our own soil again, hmmm, sounds familiar doesn't it?  It seems that rounds of golf and endless rock concerts doesn't seem to scare off the the assholes trying to kill us.

Why not execute some of them, like the Fort Hood shooter, why not gather up a bunch of them at Gitmo and instead of water boarding them just take them out and shoot them, he'll that's what they do to our troops.

Obama needs to understand that these are cold blooded murders, not just thugs with guns, they have the Koran to back them, doesn't Obama get that message?  God is stronger than hollow words from a TelePrompTer, right?  When will stop reducing our presence in the Middle East and start throwing some Tomahawks at them, remember Ben Gazzi?  I do...  And what did the President do, gave them F-15 fighter jets...

Was up wit dat?

It seems that our leadership has intentionally led us down this road, when will they lead us out...??

Boston Terrorism

This shit pisses me off. I guess Obama needs another apology tour. Maybe give Egypt some more fighter jets. Maybe build a swimming pool for the Gitmo detainees.

Cute

Thatcher "witch" song 2nd in UK charts in death protest

Sun, Apr 14 14:13 PM EDT
By Michael Holden
LONDON (Reuters) - A campaign by opponents of late Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to get the song "Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead" to the top of the British pop charts to celebrate her death failed on Sunday although it did manage to reach second place.
Thatcher, who died aged 87 on Monday, deeply divided Britons and while some have paid warm tributes to the achievements of her right-wing Conservative governments, others said her privatization of swathes of industry had destroyed communities.
That opposition was manifested in a Facebook campaign to propel the witch song, from the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz", to number one in the charts, provoking anger from politicians of all parties, right-leaning media, and members of the public.
The Official Charts Company said 52,605 copies of the song had been sold, but that was about 6,000 shy of the chart-topping track "Need U" by British DJ Duke Dumont and singer A*M*E.
The top 40 best-selling singles are played weekly on BBC Radio but the broadcaster said on Friday it would only pay a five-second clip of the song as part of a news item, leading to accusations it had caved into political pressure.
"I understand the concerns about this campaign. I personally believe it is distasteful and inappropriate," BBC Director-General Tony Hall said in a statement.
"However, I do believe it would be wrong to ban the song outright as free speech is an important principle."
Meanwhile, a rival campaign by the former premier's supporters to promote the 1979 single "I'm In Love With Margaret Thatcher" by punk band the Notsensibles fared less well, debuting in 35th place after sales of 8,768.
Since the death of the "Iron Lady", many of the divisions which characterized her time in office from 1979 to 1990 have resurfaced.
LONDON "PARTY"
In addition to the witch song campaign, several hundred people held a "party" to mark her death in central London, chanting, drinking champagne, and waving an effigy of the leader they despised.
More protests are expected on Wednesday when a ceremonial funeral with military honors is held at St Paul's Cathedral after her coffin is taken on a procession through central London - a tribute usually reserved for senior royal family members.
"This needs to be a fitting event for a very great lady," Francis Maude, a minister who served under Thatcher and is responsible for the ceremony's arrangements, told Sky News.
"It's a free country and people must obviously be free to express their views. I would simply ask that they respect the wishes of the mourners of which there will be very many for this event to take place in a dignified and seemly way."
But the cost to the public purse of the ceremony, estimated by commentators at 10 million pounds ($15.4 million), has been widely criticized at a time the Conservative-led coalition government is making deep spending cuts to cut a budget deficit.
According to a poll, 60 percent of those surveyed thought it should not be funded by taxpayers. Tim Ellis, the Anglican Bishop of Grantham, the eastern English town where Thatcher was brought up, said the grand ceremony was unwise.
"In a context where there is great ill-feeling ... about her legacy, to then actually have a situation where we seem to be expecting the nation to glorify that with a 10 million pound funeral, I think any sensible person would say that's asking for trouble," he told BBC TV.
Police have said they are prepared for any trouble which could come from anti-capitalists and anarchists with a long record of violent protest in the British capital.
David Ison, the Dean of St. Paul's who will officiate at the ceremony, said he could understand "the hurt and the anger that people want to express about the legacy" but said her funeral should be respected.
"Mrs Thatcher is not a witch or a monster," he told BBC TV. "She's a human being like the rest of us and part of what of we need to do in a funeral is put things aside."
