Republican debate

So, I didn't watch this, but have been seeing clips of it. Wow. The back and forth of that was mind blowing. Is that truly what Republicans think is presidential looking? The post debate slams on each other the day after were even more ridiculous where in they were talking smack about what each candidate was doing during the TV breaks. Can't see that getting any better. Is that really all Republicans care about? Who is the best shit talker? I'm starting to really think so.

  1. It was an embarrassing shitshow. Making fun of each other's makeup? Calling each names? "I know you are, but what am I ... " Jesus Christ, these people are running for President. Smh. When one of them says the world is laughing at us, ostensibly a jab at Obama, well, we now know why ... They were acting like they were on Jerry Springer.

Stormy was right, the movie Idiocracy has become prophesy ...

  2. With Trump, Rubio and Cruz all yelling at each other simultaneously it was hard to follow. Poor Kaisich and Carson didn't stand a chance.

  3. Insiders who were at a recent meeting between the Koch Bros. and Marco Rubio leaked intel on how exactly they’re going to try and steal the election from Donald Trump, GOP strategist Roger Stone revealed.

The Koch Bros. met with GOP millionaires and billionaires Thursday night to pool together over $75 million to stop Trump and are going to use Mitt Romney as ‘Plan B’ if Rubio fails to gain traction on Super Tuesday, according to moles who were inside the meeting.

“$75 million to stop Trump and $25 million to Marco Rubio, but they gave Rubio a condition: he’s got to win the Florida primary or he’s out and Mitt Romney’s in,” Stone revealed. “That’s the plan.”

“First they’ll ramp up an enormous, negative campaign on TV against Trump and they’re going to hit this phony Trump University issue,” he continued. “They claim to have personal dirt on Trump – I doubt that – and they are also going to try and delve into his business affairs, but if Rubio fails to grab the Florida primary, then Rubio’s out and Mitt Romney’s in.”

“The plan is for Romney to file for the New Jersey, New York and California primaries in an all-out ditch effort to stop Donald Trump and you heard it here on Infowars.com.”

Additionally, Marco Rubio’s wife called Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, to desperately beg Cruz to exit the race and aid Rubio, but Heidi said no, Stone said.

“The power structure’s desperate, the Rubio and Cruz teams are going back and forth but they can’t agree as to who will be the candidate,” he added. “I still believe Mitt Romney is totally dressed up, already made up, waiting in the wings… to step in as the last, best hope of the ‘stop Trump’ movement, and frankly I think Trump will bulldoze him as well.”

  4. DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A group of Iowa high school students has been admonished for seemingly using Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's name as a racial insult during a boys' basketball game.

The chant occurred Monday during a playoff game between Dallas Center-Grimes in West Des Moines, a largely white school, and Perry, a more diverse school north of Des Moines.

According to DCG activities director Steve Watson, roughly a dozen students out of the 120 or so in attendance chanted Trump's name after their team lost to Perry.

Trump has drawn fire for saying that illegal immigration from Mexico brings rapists and drug dealers into the U.S., among other things.

Watson says the chant was uttered three or four times before administrators stopped the students. He declined to say whether the students were disciplined, citing privacy policies.

    1. Trump is now drawing fire for refusing to disavow support from David Duke, leader of white supremacist and KKK groups, during an interview on Fox News. Trump claims he knows nothing about those groups.

  5. I wish I truly understood what Trump supporters see. He's attacked everybody, literally everybody and I've admitted before, he's even said things that I agree with. But his supporters are unwavering to the point where it seems there is literally nothing he could do to turn them off. I have a few Republican colleagues at work and one thing they all say is, "Well Trump's a businessman, he'll be good on the economy" I don't get that statement. I explained to one of my colleagues that what he is promising to do with tariffs is actually ANTI capitalist and ANTI free trade. he looked at me like I was crazy.

I think a Trump presidency would be bad for the country, and the world for that matter. But, it would be a disaster most for the Republican party, or more accurately, it would be a disaster for the donors who have worked for years to gain the control they have.

  6. Trump signed a pledge to support the Republican nominee and, in exchange, the RNC signed a pledge to give him a "level playing field". So yesterday he issued a statement saying if the RNC tried to oppose him they would be "very sorry", a not so veiled threat. He knows he has them by the short curlies. This is going to get even nastier.

  7. We'll see where the delegate count ends up after this evening. If they are going to disavow Trump the enfilade will start in earnest tomorrow.
