yeah, I had seen something about this earlier in the day. One thought I had was that maybe he got a little shamed into it after his lack of participation for the last ten years was highlighted again after Scalia died. Another thought I had was that maybe he feels HE can now be the conservative Alpha dog now that Scalia is gone. Or maybe he just had gas and decided to lean forward and ask a question to see if it would go away
I think that Scalia was his voice all those years and now that Scalia is gone he feels that he must take over as you say. As long as Scalia was asking the same questions that he would have asked he had no need to speak. Kind of spooky.
