  1. Thanks William. Thats a pretty solid win for Bernie. You may find this surprising, but I was actually just as encouraged that Kasich came in second on the Republican side. it likely will change down the road, but for now, I'm having an ounce of hope we might actually have debate on useful things this year. Glad to see Bernie heading here to Nevada with some momentum. Pretty good night overall.

    1. What I like about Bernie and Donald is that they both are exposing the unemployment rate fairy tale along with other governmental propaganda.

Long may you run comrade Bernie.

    2. Interestingly, the delegate split for Hillary really isn't that bad. With only two people in the Dem race, Bernie will likely get only 2-3 more delegates than she picks up here, despite beating her pretty soundly. A majority of super delegates are already in the tank for Hillary. I think there's just over 300 left to pick up with Hillary already owning a commanding 315 or so. Bernie has a LOT of work to do in delegate math.

Ill be curious to see what comes of stopping to kiss the ring of Sharpton. I feel good about Sanders chances here in Nevada, but from here, who knows. Somewhere along the way he needs a couple of endorsements that will bring some constituency with them.

  2. I found it interesting that a lot of the undecided voters said they were going for either Donald or Bernie. What does that tell you?

    1. I buy the pundit spin on that, which is that it means people are fed up with both parties. Trump made an interesting comment the day after he was challenged about calling Cruz a pussy. Paraphrasing, he said, "I was repeating what someone in the crowd said, it's all in fun. When it gets closer to the election, my tone will change. " He also went on to mention that he was a good student and had an uncle who was a professor. I think Trump, right now, is playing it for the absolute reality show that it is.

The other thing is that I believe supporters of both see something genuine in both. Sanders doesn't look like he has changed a bit since the 60's. Trump clearly has progressed from a more liberal view to a harder conservative view. Still, he steps up and punches everyone else in the nose every chance he gets, and that is pure Trump.

    2. Could it be the new and improved Trump is nothing but a side show with the main event and return to liberalism after the election.

I will certainly laugh at the supporters who claim their savior has arrived.

    3. I wonder why the Nevada caucus doesn't get near the press that South Carolina does. Bernie should do well out there with all the casino unions, no?

    4. That's my thinking William. The big union out here, Culinary, has stayed neutral, but I've been seeing some bumper stickers and T shirts for Bernie. Should be interesting
