Soros to Host Fundraiser for ‘Independent’ Kansas Senate Candidate
Kansas Senate hopeful Greg Orman insists that he is not beholden to the Democratic Party, but a major Democratic donor is hosting a fundraiser for his campaign to unseat Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Roberts.
Jonathan Soros, son of billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, will host a New York City fundraiser this week for Orman, who is running as an independent candidate, according to an invitation obtained by America Rising.
In addition to the $3.7 million the younger Soros has donated to Democratic candidates, committees, and interest groups, Jonathan is a highly active member of the secretive Democracy Alliance, a hub of Democratic fundraising.
The fundraising consultancy managing the event, the Katz Watson Group, represents a who’s-who of Democratic organizations and individuals, including the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Hillary Clinton for President Exploratory Committee.
hee hee that was misleading but you did get me to open the link. This my friend is the Soros deeply involved in politics not Daddy George so much.
ReplyDeleteAnd the sins of the fathers shall be visited upon the sons! Because of a huge thirst for knowledge, I carefully read the piece and examined the flyer with great care. My problem is, as always, one of understanding things which are routine to Americans. Why the excitement if Soros Junior wishes to support an independent? Even though the family supports the Dems, is there something wrong with supporting an independent? Does it always have to carry a political connotation? Here is a weird one for your consideration. Suppose William nominates for the Repubs and takes his views we see here onto the platform. Now I too am a Republican (under another name and another flag) and I generally find Williams’s politics far too extreme. William however is a friend and I would support him if asked. Please tell me what the difference between me and Soros junior is.
ReplyDeleteNothing King except your last name isn't Soros. William's people think the Soros clan to be like the Koch brothers who support republicans, but it isn't even close in how much money is given. The Koch's have spent 15 million just in my state of North Carolina to try to defeat Senator Kay Hagan who they have pinned the deciding vote of Obamacare on.
