What if you had a loved one in our armed services?

  1. As for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Gates says he was "dismayed" when he heard her tell President Obama that her opposition to the 2007 troop surge in Iraq had been "political, because she was facing him during the primary season."

  2. "With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans," Clinton responded, raising her voice at Johnson, who continued to interrupt her. "Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk last night who decided to kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?

  3. (For those who need a refresher from 2008, Hillary Clinton's ad went like this:
"It's 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep, but there's a phone in the White House and it's ringing. Something is happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call. Whether it's someone who already knows the world's leaders, knows the military. Someone tested and ready to lead in a dangerous world. It's 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?"

  4. "Of course, the big question political experts are asking now is what role will Bill Clinton play in Hillary's campaign. I'm guessing 'the cheating husband.'" --Jay Leno

  6. "According to a new survey, Hillary Clinton's popularity rating is down to its lowest point in over a year. When Bill Clinton heard this, he said, 'If there's one thing Hillary can do, it's bring polls down.'" --Conan O'Brein

  7. "Hillary Clinton is repositioning herself constantly. She is now campaigning against sex and violence in TV shows and video games. She said studies show that children who ... are exposed to sexual images are more likely to blow her husband" --Bill Maher

  8. Comedians make fun of those in power, it's what they do.

If I had a loved one in the armed forces now, I would be very afraid for them. Not because of Obama or Clinton, but instead because this country has adopted a scary imperialist attitude which, surprisingly, does not seem to bother anyone to the right of moderate. In a time of massive deficits and debt, we still believe that we need to spend an amount that exceeds the spending of 20 or 30 countries combined. We defend oil, the monarchy of Saudi Arabia, we protect the ships laden with cargo from countries we sent our jobs to, and we have decided that what is best for our country is to make life even more miserable for people who live in areas where Muslim whack jobs use their power to subjugate the local people. Despite having the worlds largest military, we got hit on 9/11 anyway.

    1. Easy Max.

Just kidding, we are not the worlds policeman. The question you have to ask yourself is why do we need over 1000 bases overseas?

Is England, Spain, Germany in dire need of our military top protect them? I know we need a base in Italy to protect the Vatican, have you seen their guards? Wouldn't stand a chance against someone with a good sling shot.
