Objectively, it is interesting. I guess, if I'm going to nitpick any flaw in the thinking, it's that there is still the issue of congress. Voters may get their wish to circumvent the established power bases of both parties, but this plan only works to me IF the voters stay engaged and make clear they will dump their local representative if they don't back what the triumvirate comes up with.
Social media IS giving power to the people, but I remain cynical that people still largely just want to show up, extend their middle finger by voting for an insurgent, and then go back home.
