Fuck that Coon Ben Carson

Fuck Ben Carson

You know, the only thing more alarming than Donald Trump leading the Republican presidential field is the fact that Ben Carson is the guy right behind him. While establishment puds like Jeb! Bush and Marco Rubio can’t decide if they want to beat Trump or emulate him, the Good Doctor made it clear this week that he is not only willing to replicate Trump’s signature brand of hot-garbage-spewing, but he’ll say even DUMBER shit. Here is Carson from earlier in the week on the Oregon shooter:

"Not only would I probably not cooperate with him, I would not just stand there and let him shoot me. I would say, ‘Hey, guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.’ ”

Oh, but he wasn’t done yet. Carson knows a goldmine of asinine cannon fire when he sees it, so he went inagain:

“I never saw a body with bullet holes that was more devastating than taking the right to arm ourselves away.”

And again:

“I have had a gun held on me when I was in a Popeyes organization. Guy comes in, put the gun in my ribs. And I just said, ‘I believe that you want the guy behind the counter.’ ”

That’s right, Carson just threw the poor cashier right under the bus. Whatever happened to having everyone attack the gunman, Doctor? Does that strategy get tossed out the window when there’s a convenient low-level cashier around to take the brunt of the crossfire?

Here’s the thing: I don’t believe Carson when he says any of this. I bet he wasn’t even held up at that chicken joint. Carson is a soft-spoken fella who knows that he has to make even sillier comments than the competition just so that his silly comments are heard. You saw Bobby Jindal do the same thing this week when he called out the Oregon shooter’s father as the main culprit in the massacre. You are now bearing witness to an arms race of stupid, because stupid is in such high demand from the GOP base at the present moment. Stupid is what gets you attention, and attention is what gets you better polling numbers.

You are now bearing witness to an arms race of stupid, because stupid is in such high demand from the GOP base at the present moment.

Twitter

But there’s more to it. Some of these guys have done a cynical bit of calculus and are betting that the Stupid Vote constitutes the majority of the American electorate. And maybe they’re right, but that’s not exactly the most encouraging view to have of the people you wish to serve. I don’t want a president who regards his constituents with the same kind of contempt I have for GQ’s Facebook commenters (sorry, but you are all terrible people). Donald Trump, for all of his bluster, is at least authentically stupid. Read this story if you don’t believe me. All these other guys are clown posers. Trump is the genuine article.

And, God help me, I think I’d rather have him sitting in the Oval Office, getting stupidly out-maneuvered by the politicians under him, than bringing in a guy like Carson who is willing to shred every last bit of his intellectual credibility in order to lord over a citizenry he doesn’t seem to have much respect for. Fuck him. If he wins office, we’ll all be that poor Popeyes clerk.

U Penn Prof Anthea Butler tweeted "If only there was a 'coon of the year' award" in response to Ben Carson's claim that people have the right to display Confederate flags on private property.

  1. Before there was a Trump you liked this guy William. ...........Then liberty mutual calls and I break out into my happy dance. Although I will not repeat your garbage in your title about Dr. Carson, I knew all along that he didn't have what it takes. I got to watch part of his interview on CNN yesterday and he showed once again he is pandering to the base and is completely out of touch with the reality of our government. Trump won't win. America is not that stupid. He's a sideshow until the race begins to matter. I look for Rubio to rise to the top unless he gets foot in mouth disease as so many repubs seem to get. Hilary might be dishonest but at least she is consistently dishonest. She certainly isn't hiding it.

    5. You're a racist ric. While you support your messiah the half white BO you take no restraint in pillow ing African American Ben Carson.

It's obvious. You are a racist.

    6. You don't know the meaning of the word racist William. Because I don't like Carson doesn't make me racist. He lacks all experience and increasingly it shows.

    7. You're really scared of him. You and all your lib friends are terrified of losing your African American franchise.

  2. Trial by Media, by Twitter and any other means available to promulgate the views of the vocal minority. Who takes any notice of the posts by William? He attacks all and sundry with ideas straight from the play book of old Samuel Adams. Carson was once the Messiah until Trump came along. Trump is now the shining beacon on the hill of Republicanism. Clinton of course is pilloried, also because of trial by media rather than examination by reasoning minds. Can Carson win? Perhaps the options of some of the other Repubs are limited by dearth of funds and of charisma but they do appear to be a kangaroo short in the top paddock in many cases. Has Jeb Bush the ability to shrug off the events in Florida in 2000 when his brother was elected ( The college cast the vote over the popular vote I believe). What is becoming obvious to me is that the lack of intellect is easily outweighed by the ability to raise sufficient cash to out spend and out shout the opposition. Perhaps what I am getting to is that the Presidency of the United States is for sale to the dumbest and the richest. I am an agnostic, however, God help you all.

    1. You're a piece of work king, a real piece of work. Everyone's dumb that doesn't support the reasoned mature goddess Hillary Rodham.

You're just not paying attention. You're missing the biggest movement of at least a century while denigrating anyone who's not a socialist. Good luck selling that load of manure.

    3. For a couple of solid months now I have deliberately imitated the crass max, and his semi potty mouth partner pfunky punk. This display of what is taken as de rigueur for our putrid leftest trained seals is perfectly displayed in the referenced article above.

The article was printed in that august publication GQ, or if you can believe it, "Gentleman's" Quarterly. This is what has become common everyday speech for our leftest media obsessed brethern. God Bless their little hearts.

As sickened of this chrade as I have made myself during this mimicry I know that it also has be labored long time associates of this grouping. I do not apologize for the course nature of this experiment as it has served it's purpose.

It is what it is. The left has turned large portions of everyday citizens into happy profane proles of the State.

In the word of my leftest friends:
      FUCK BARACK OBAMA
      FUCK HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON
      FUCK OUR COMMUNIST PROGRESSIVES
      FUCK BOTH BIG SPENDING PARTIES

Is this actually a serious comment?

    5. TS How can it not be a serious comment given the following.?
On what grounds, if any has HRC been charged and CONVICTED of any crime?.
Has any of the many investigations into the Benghazi affair led to civil or federal charges?.
You of course have better access than I to the sources but I am not aware of any PROVEN wrongdoings. Of course, a perception by a Political opponent is a matter of belief and does not constitute a verdict supportable under the law.

Would appreciate your response, preferably keeping within the parameters of the argument.

    6. I could certianly give you a long list of things both she and Bill have been accused of... a long list of shady deals the have been associated with... and an 'A' list of people you wouldn't want your daughter exposed to... but sadly... just like the 'teflon don' John Goti, nothing has yet to stick.

But let me ask you this... would you want Mr. "if the glove does not fit.. you must acquit" OJ Simpson to be your son in law... or your Prime Minister?

      Delete
    7. Ts My thanks.OJ Simpson? As I recall this man was acquitted of the murder of his wife and subsequently imprisoned following a separate crime to do with robbery or guns. I cannot see how there is a valid connection between OJ and HRC.I do note, and share your frustration at the Teflon coating which appears likely to have been painted on to all viable surfaces of HRC.However,I believe Teflon is not an illegal product! There was a previous case of Teflon covering the almighty when Joe Kennedy’s son was never charged with a serious crime following the crash at Chappaquiddick (?spelling). In that case the media dragged the accusation before the public even after his death decades after the event.
OJ for a son in law or a Prime Minister? Sorry friend,he would not qualify for the second and the choice would be up to my daughter as to the first.I would however trust in her good judgement to make the right choice.

    10. K,
Jury Decides Simpson Must Pay $25 Million in Punitive Award
      By B. DRUMMOND AYRES Jr.
      Published: February 11, 1997

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 10— Writing one of the final chapters in O. J. Simpson's long legal case, a civil court jury here ordered him today to pay a financially debilitating $25 million in punitive damages to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald L. Goldman.

The huge award constituted still another pointed contradiction of the much-disputed 1995 criminal court verdict that found Mr. Simpson not guilty of the double slaying that has gripped the nation with its uncomfortable questions about murder, wife battering, racism, celebrity and the quality of American justice.

The same jury had awarded the Goldman family 8.5 million in compensatory damages last week.

Mr. Simpson does not now have $33.5 million and likely never will. So it is but a guess how much less the plaintiffs' families will get, once the appeals and future court hearings are completed and Mr. Simpson's time in court, already pushing three years, comes to an end.

The surviving family members were overjoyed after hearing today's decision, but they insisted that the awards, while more than welcome, were not the big issue in their civil action. Rather, they explained, they were looking for closure -- ''justice,'' some called it -- to the worst thing that had ever happened to them.

''The jury decision of last Tuesday was the only decision important to us, to find the killer of my son and Nicole responsible,'' said Mr. Goldman's father, Fred. ''The money is not an issue. It never has been. It's holding the man who killed my son and Nicole responsible.''

Speaking for the Brown family, its lawyer, John Q. Kelly, said the issue was never money because that would have required putting a price tag on murder. ''And that's something you can't do,'' Mr. Kelly said.

Before the jury could make either a compensatory or punitive award, it first was required to determine whether Mr. Simpson was the killer.

Mr. Simpson, whose appeals will face both legal and financial hurdles, was not in court to hear today's verdict, which was permissible because the case was a civil action. And neither he nor his lawyers made a statement afterward.

  4. William I attack your politics, not your character. I care not for the epithets you hurl in my direction, it demonstrates nothing more than an intellect devoid of ideas other than those formulated by others, many of course in ancient history.
Please understand, I am a Republican supporter and have been for sixty five years, ever since leaving my country of Birth to come to a country which offered so much and which has delivered that which it promised.
My involvement on this site is tolerated by the fair minded members because they recognize my bi partisanship wish for the best for your Nation. I care not for the Benghazi affair, a talking point for yourself and your disciples. I do care that the next President makes some genuine attempt to achieve the Bi Partnership which has been so sadly missing since perhaps the departure of Tip O’Neil from the Hill. I do not give a fiddlers fart as to whether a Dem or a Pub wins office, I do however believe that whichever party wins the white house, the nation will be better served if that same party wins control of both houses on the hill. What worries me is the propensity for some, and sadly I must include Angie, to wave their white caps and bed sheets.I thought that form of bigotry and racism had departed from American Politics.
NB I deleted the comment above due to an unforgivable error on my part.I identified a post from Angie as being authored by Pflunky. My sincere apologies to all concerned.

  5. I don't know if anyone watched the video that I posted but the woman that called Ben Carson a coon is a tenured professor at the University of Pennsylvania. This is a women poisons our children and she is quite proud of the fact that she is an untouchable as a tendered professor.

    1. I watched the movie with a great deal of disgust. However I failed utterly to understand how such a program could be transmitted for public consumption. I was offended by the presenter and I was offended by the comments from the Professor. That the Professor is inviolate from disciplinary action is beyond belief. Surely it is a sick society when even the first can override the decency supposed to be written into the Constitution. Many leaders from both sides of the Political Spectrum have done so much to remove the color necklace of shame still hanging around the necks of so many. There is obviously still much to be done it seems.

    2. TS, I'm sure said professor will receive many standing ovations during upcoming black studies seminars. It's laughable that this piece of tripe denigrates an intellect of Dr. Carson ' s stature.

    4. This guy blogs stories and creates his videos primarily for a black audience and is generally speaking to the gang bangers and trouble makers and people who winge about racism but do nothing to improve their lot... His has some pretty harsh words for the black community and doesn’t mine calling out the things that black people inflict on themselves. He did say in this video that he was giving to her all the disrespect she was giving to Carson. While he pulls no punches... maybe we could just credit that to the Chicago project from which he came and give him credit for calling out jackasses when he sees them...

  7. Interesting how people who didn't support Obama were called racist.

Yet today nothing is said about those that would not support Carson.

Dr Carson may be an intellect but he is not a president. And that could easily be said of Obama even after 7 years practice.

    1. "Interesting how people who didn't support Obama were called racist. "

A fair point. An equally fair point is there are indeed people who dislike Obama who are racist. To call someone a coon, or nigger, or jigaboo, ape, or anything of the sort is racist. It's not that complicated for me.

      Delete
    2. Then we need to aggressively call out black people who say these sorts of things as racist... we need to call out black people who make insensitive remarks as racist... It's not that complicated for me either but some folks just don't see it.

    3. Fundamentally, I don't have a problem with that but it would be much better to come from black people. It's too bad Bill Cosby turned out to be such a fucking scum bag, because for a time, he was a respected voice.
