Well, freedom loving Cliven Bundy has suggested that maybe black folk were better off as slaves and has left Rand Paul, Dean Heller and even Greta Van Fox News feeling like they needed to sternly denounce him. Why is Fox news turning on him?

Predictably, in the politico article, it is noted that some little dipstick Democrat chirped Rand Paul didn't distance himself quick enough. Really? Admittedly, I tend to think that Bundy is representative of what the Tea Party is about. Under the guise of freedom professed by the forefathers, they want to be free of any rule and oversight. Simultaneously, while they proclaim freedom for all, what they really mean is what the founding fathers did, which is that all are created equal, but some more equal than others.
Liberals have their whackadoodles, but for today, Grand Imperial Rancher Bundy gets the spotlight. I wonder how long Heller and Paul will be massaging their bitten hands.
Stop muddying the water and stick to the real issue. The federal government is overstepping its authority. They tried as thugs do to strong arm and intimidate to get their way and it did not work. Regardless of other activates or beliefs the issue is the fed and when are the states and the people of the states going to put the fed in its place.

If the Government fails it is because we the People fail in our responsibility to elect the right people. Those Senators and Representativews are chosen by the people of the states. Congress currently has a 16% aproval rating and yet the people of the states keep electing the same bufoons year after year. Wake up people.

He seemingly admits he doesn't own the land and once the land became federal, I think he decided to gamble that the Feds would not bother him and decided to say he doesn't have to pay anything because he doesn't recognize the Federal government. The militia's present are merely Alinski like thugs hoping that somebody will get hurt so that they can provoke agents into shooting some of them.
ReplyDeleteI read in an earlier article that at one time the Bundy's actually did pay their grazing fees. Here in the past few years he's gone off on a tangent about the state of Nevada federalizing it's unclaimed land during it's push for statehood. It is what it is, the fed owns it.
