"The White House organized the conference call — which was unclassified because of a lack of secure phone lines — at a time when congressional demands for more information on both the intelligence regarding the alleged chemical weapons attack and President Barack Obama’s plans for a military response are growing." http://www.politico.com/story/2013/08/nancy-pelosi-barack-obama-syria-96065.html
I guess the NSA was using up all the bandwidth. Who are these people? The Keystone Cops?
Kerry on TV today lying out his ass saying that Obama is not backtracking and had always planned to consult Congress.
He is also making the argument that since chemical gas was used, therefore it had to be Assad.
There are some reports that the chemical weapons either came in from Saudi Arabia OR were taken from Assad's stockpiles.
So, it's about time for Obama to go bomb some terrorists in Yemen or Pakistan just to show how tough he is and that he is not really a coward. He is probably secretly begging Congress to not approve intervention.
Communist Vietnamese honor John Kerry, the war protestor, as a hero in their victory over the United States in the Vietnam War. In the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum (formerly known as the "War Crimes Museum") in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), a photograph of John Kerry hangs in a room dedicated to the anti-war activists who helped the Vietnamese Communists win the Vietnam War. The photograph shows Senator Kerry being greeted by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Comrade Do Muoi. Below the photograph of John Kerry are explanatory placards in English, French, Vietnamese, and Chinese. The English placard reads:
"Mr. Do Muoi, Secretary General of the Vietnamese Communist Party met with Congressman and Veterans Delegation in Vietnam (July 15-18, 1993)"
Senator Kerry may argue today that his anti-war protests did not render support to the enemy in time of war and that his activities did not violate the definition of treason given in Article III, Section 3, of the US Constitution. This exhibit paying tribute to Kerry in the War Protestors Hall of the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City tells a very different story. The Vietnamese communists clearly feel that the American anti-war protestors were a very important force in undermining support in the United States for American war efforts, a force that contributed materially to ultimate communist victory in 1975.
Willing Partners: the VVAW and the Vietnamese Communists
Other examples of the VVAW's advocacy of Vietnamese communist positions during the period of John Kerry's leadership abound. The group issued a proclamation in February 1971 calling for mass civil disobedience and military mutiny if American forces entered Laos. After the war, North Vietnamese military leaders acknowledged that one of their greatest fears was that America would move significant forces into Laos to interdict the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The VVAW's eagerness to comply with the wishes of the Vietnamese communists even extended to its choice of nomenclature. The VVAW's Executive Committee stated in a July 1971 meeting that the terms "Vietcong" and "North Vietnamese" were not to be used in VVAW press releases and communications. Instead, "PRG (Provisional Revolutionary Government)" and "DRV (Democratic Republic of Vietnam)"... "are to be used by us to reflect our acceptance of their designations." And the VVAW's unremitting insistence that American forces were mass-murdering Vietnamese civilians perfectly echoed the primary propaganda theme put forth by the Vietnamese communists, their international communist allies, and their Soviet sponsors.
Conclusion
The newly uncovered documents help clarify the relationship of the North Vietnamese, the Vietcong, the PCPJ, the Communist Party of the USA, and John Kerry's VVAW. They indicate that these organizations worked closely together, using the Paris Peace Talks as a central point of communication, to employ the strategy and tactics devised by the Vietnamese communists to achieve their primary objective: the defeat of the United States of America in Vietnam.
Not just from the mouth of John Kerry but rather the entire Obama administration. This administration is probably the most deceitful and unamerican as any in the history of this once great country.
The case being made is that the Assad Regime used WMDs on their own people. That isn't the same as making the case for the U. S. to go it alone, yes? Nor is it the case for supporting our Fool so he can save face.
All the Zerohedgers, who for years have said we are hoodwinked by a one party system, are having their case made very strongly right before our eyes.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Jimbo. Good post.
ReplyDeleteLoves me some Zero Hedge!
ReplyDeleteCongress is PO'd b/c while the admin says they have evidence, they haven't told Congress. The Obama admin could easily give a private briefing.
When you've never had balls you can't grow them overnight...

Why should we believe anything that comes out of John Kerry's mouth?
