Internment camps for political dissidents in the U.S. aren't a conspiracy theory. The Department of Defense document entitled "INTERNMENT AND RESETTLEMENT OPERATIONS" or FM 3-39.40 proves this beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Obama DHS Purchases 2,700 Light-Armored Tanks to Go With Their 1.6 Billion Bullet Stockpile

This is getting a little creepy.
According to one estimate, since last year the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.

DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).

The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.

Although I’ve seen and read several online blurbs about this vehicle of late, I decided to dig slightly deeper and discover more about the vehicle itself.

The new DHS sanctioned ‘Street Sweeper’ (my own slang due to the gun ports) is built by Navistar Defense (NavistarDefense.com), a division within the Navistar organization. Under the Navistar umbrella are several other companies including International Trucks, IC Bus (they make school buses), Monaco RV (recreational vehicles), WorkHorse (they make chassis), MaxxForce (diesel engines), and Navistar Financial (the money arm of the company).

DHS even released a video on their newly purchased MRAPs.

The MRAP featured in this video is was in Albuquerque, New Mexico for Law Enforcement Day which was held at a local area Target Store. This MRAP is stationed in El Paso, Texas at The Homeland Security Investigations Office. MRAP is a Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicle.

This is just one example. A mistaken interpretation of a student’s voicemail greeting triggered a lockdown of several schools in a western Pennsylvania county, and led to the student’s arrest on Thursday. The prerecorded greeting was the student’s imitation of part of the rap theme song from the “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” a 1990s sitcom starring a young Will Smith. A receptionist for a local eye doctor listened to the message when she called 19-year-old Travis Clawson to confirm an appointment, reports Fox News. At one point, the receptionist thought she heard Clawson say, “shooting people outside of the school.” The actual words to the song are: “And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school.” Worried that Clawson was up to no good, the unnamed receptionist called 911. A throng of local police responded quickly. Schools throughout Beaver County were locked down for about 20 minutes, the Beaver County Times reports. Officers located Clawson in the guidance counselor’s office of Ambridge Area High School. He was taken into custody. However, the teen was released after he clarified the words of the song and the voicemail greeting. According to the Beaver County Times, Clawson’s voicemail rendition of “The Fresh Prince” was somewhat unclear. Apparently, there was some question whether Clawson had sung the original words of the song as composed by Will Smith and Quincy Jones, or if he did, in fact, change the words into something more sinister. District Attorney Anthony Berosh told the Times that he believed Clawson’s version followed the original version and that his office would not press charges, thus suggesting that someone in the district attorney’s office actually considered pressing charges. Acting police Chief James Mann was satisfied with the result of the lockdown and subsequent arrest. “I believe everyone acted appropriately. Our first concern is the safety of kids,” Mann told the Times. Ambridge Area Superintendent Erv Weischedel was also upbeat. “It gave us a wonderful chance to review our emergency procedures,” Weischedel told the Times. “It was a good drill that went very, very well.” On the other hand, the Clawson family is not as bubbly about the outcome. “Humans have made a huge hole in nature in the last 10,000 years,” Brand said. “We have the ability now, and maybe the moral obligation, to repair some of the damage.”

Obama's Sequester Math: $300 Billion In New Revenues Called 'Spending Cuts'

When President Obama put out his "balanced" plan to avoid the automatic sequester cuts, no one noticed. Which is probably just as well for Obama, given how embarrassingly unbalanced it is.

Last week, New York Times columnist David Brooks wrote about how Obama "hasn't actually come up with a proposal to avert sequestration, let alone one that is politically plausible."

Turns out, Obama did have one, although Brooks can be excused for not knowing it, since the administration hasn't exactly been promoting this so-called plan.

That, too, is understandable, since it isn't a plan at all, just a list of numbers with little to back them up.

There are no details, for example, about the $200 billion in cuts to defense and domestic discretionary programs, other than that Obama wants them split evenly.

And while he offers $400 billion in "health savings," 30% are lumped in a bucket labeled "other."

Worse, Obama's "balanced" plan actually counts hundreds of billions of new revenues from taxes, fees and rebates as "spending reductions." Examples:

• His plan to "strengthen" unemployment insurance is labeled as a cut, but it's really a $50 billion tax hike.

• The $35 billion from the federal worker retirement programs involves boosting worker contributions.

• Most of the $35 billion in Medicare savings comes from charging wealthy seniors more.

• The $140 billion in "reduced payments to drug companies" are in fact rebates Obama wants drugmakers to pay Uncle Sam for selling drugs to poor seniors.

• Then there's the $45 billion in spectrum fees and asset sales that Obama lists as spending reductions.

Viewed correctly, it turns out that more than $300 billion — about a third — of Obama's proposed "spending cuts" are actually revenue increases.

As a result, instead of $1.2 trillion in spending cuts called for by the sequester over the next decade, Obama would add more than $1 trillion in revenues, while cutting outlays only about $600 billion. And much of those aren't real cuts, but tiny reductions in projected spending growth over the next decade.

And in the end, his plan, such as it is, will do nothing to forestall the nation's oncoming debt crisis.

After four years, Obama's unseriousness as a president continues to surprise us.

Obama's "recess" appointments are unconstitutional

The illegitimate Obama Labor Board is STILL defiantly operating business-as-usual one month after a federal court ruled Obama's "recess" appointments were unconstitutional.

That's why earlier this month National Right to Work Foundation staff attorneys asked the same court to enforce its ruling and make the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) cease and desist.

And now the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has ordered the NLRB to respond.

You see, the Obama Labor Board is scheming to gut a longstanding Foundation-won U.S. Supreme Court precedent that prevents union bosses from forcing independent-minded workers to financially support Big Labor's radical political agenda.

Worse, they're trying to do it even though Barack Obama violated the Constitution by installing three Board members as "recess" appointees while Congress was still in session.

But this case is just the start.

Foundation staff attorney John Raudabaugh calculates that over 1,400 NLRB decisions could be voided because of Obama's unconstitutional power grab.

As you know, this is a big deal because the Obama Labor Board has dedicated itself to rewriting American labor law and stacking the deck for union bosses every chance it can.

That's why I expect the Obama Administration and their Big Labor benefactors to fight tooth-and-nail, probably all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
